Netroxic says:

In the original press vinyl, the song “Good times Bad times” in the begin
of the song, the cymbal of the drums is listening to right or left?

mrhoffame says:

Those are so nice! Love that shrink on those.

LA Rey says:

Can’t enjoy the video without worrying about the cup

Nicholas Murphy says:

Nice zep I just subscribed.

EarlofSuave308 says:

I was listening to 1 and 2 this morning, Fantastic! What I like about
these pressings is that they sound BETTER at high volume. Congratulations
of the box set! Way to go!

Axel Book says:

Thanks for haring. Thses albums are on my wantlist.
Have a great day!

My Analog Corner - Carsten Olsen says:

Oh man, I wish I had the money to get all of the remasters 🙂 I think I’ll
just get the single LP version of LZ 1. because I don’t have that one.
I’m interested to hear how they sound?. Have you had the chance to compare
them to your other copy’s yet?

Vinyl Rewind says:

Hey Mikko, very cool video! These releases look great. At first I didn’t
noticed you sped up the video at parts and I thought something was wrong
with YouTube lol. Thanks for sharing

HIWATTSteve says:

Man, I really want to get the Super Box sets but at $120+ it hurts. I have
been buying their catalog my entire life. From vinyl to tape to CD to the
remasters of the past. Now this collection. But I totally agree with you
about the way some of this is shipped. They really need to be more careful.
You order it, spend good money and the mail people beat it to shit. But the
180G vinyl releases of The Beatles and Pink Floyd are incredible. I can
imagine that these are no different. But they just released Houses of the
Holy. Great post. Enjoy!

Jean D. Amorocho says:

Hey Mikko, I was waiting for someone to show those LZ remasters. I like the
1969 concert but I really don’t care about the out takes.
The real question is how do they sound in comparison with the originals?
Take care Mikko.
Jean
PS. I just pre-order the deluxe cd Opeth album to be released in August
(the month my daughter will be born!). It comes with three 7″ additional
singles and the cd plus a bluray. I will also buy the LP later on.

RK Jorgensen says:

That cup of coffey on the armchair is freaking me out 🙂 … some day it
will drop into your cassette deck :-)

weaselsuit says:

Thank for taking the time to make this!

MyVinylBar says:

Money talks and MyVinylBar walks!
Thanks for sharing this live opening moment with us, Mikko. 🙂 I thought
that the 1st album would have been the only one with the trifold cover but
I guess that all the deluxe versions will have trifold covers. I have to
say that I’m HUGELY disappointed that there were no any kind of printed
inner sleeves! GRRR !!! Well poly line ones have some confort…
I wish I could collect the whole set but I think I’m not gonna do that. At
least I have all the Zeppelin studio albums on vinyl and I’m pretty happy
with that.
Enjoy your new LZ vinyl !!!

Dazed and confused,
Jarkko / MyVinylBar

Bernard Thompson says:

Got the full back catalogue of led Zeppelin all untouched vinal mist signed
never played !! ????

Michael Patchett says:

Wow amazing dude

Patrick Vermeirsch says:

The Beatles is the best pop group ever… and Led Zeppelin is the best rock
band ever, no doubt about i! Beautiful remastered albums!

drprogensteinphp says:

I still own the original pressings on UK, US, and Canadian vinyl. Heard
good and bad things about the recent vinyl reissues/remasters. Personally,
I’m a bit skeptical, as I’m so familiar with every nuance of the original
mixes, that any sort of tweaking, enhancement or change to those mixes may
annoy rather than delight these ears. And how many times do they need to
remaster these albums?

Also…why would Atlantic use the incorrect label design? If their goal was
to replicate the graphics to some extent, they should be using the correct
design employed at the time these albums were released (1969 – 70), which
were the Atlantic red, white, and purple labels. The red, white, and green
design currently employed was not being used in the UK, US, and most other
regions until 1972 through the 80’s.
I suppose we can chalk it up to the person(s) in charge of the
graphics…more than likely too young to know any better, and possibly only
ever owning 70’s and 80’s reissues on the red, white, and green. The fact
that Page, Plant, or JPJ were not involved so much (or at all?) with
packaging might also explain this design oversight.

zeppearl says:

Mikko well done !! I am still waiting for III to come to my shop. I hope to
do a video on my thoughts of the releases soon. Just cracked opened LZ I
last night and WOW sounds great to me. Thanks for doing this . -V

DarkSideOfTheZoom says:

Moi Mikko! Alright, breaking out some Led Zeppelin!! They say good things
come in threes! That LZ I set looks amazing! How does it sound Mikko? That
Olympia live concert sounds fantastic…I love their cover version of “I
Can’t Quit You Baby”. LZ II and LZ III also look unreal. I wanted to get
these remasters as well, but could not afford it at the time. Maybe one
day. The artwork on that LZ III album is awesome, with the rotating wheel
inside! Enjoy listening to those excellent remasters Mikko, turn them up
LOUD OK!! have a great week Mikko, rock on!! D.

TheMaxACDCJohnLennon says:

Hi Mikko! I ordered the three Zepp albums and they sound absolutely
amazing. The Paris concert is also brilliant. I am verry happy, except the
song Heartbreaker on the studio album remastered vinyl sounds crap. only
that one song is like playing a very bad picture disc. Did you have the
same experience? And also my led zepp three studio album remastered came a
bit warped :(. I really had bad luck. But they sound fantastic.

Bobby Gass says:

Very nice Mikko. That first album has previously unreleased tracks from
1969 does it? I saw them that year but I was so stoned I don’t remember the
set list so I’m curious to hear the extra tracks. The triple fold out idea
is way too cool.

Tommy Forsman says:

Nice video. I bought the Zep nr. 3 and the package and sound is amazing

BarakaPDub says:

Nikko – Sorry for what may be an oddball question but were the numbers in
the deadwax stamped or hand scribed? I heard it advertised that all of
the reissue records were pressed at Pallas in Germany but I noticed that
your inner sleeves were not perfectly square. My records came in
perfectly square poly lined inner sleeves and the deadwax had type face
printed numbers in the deadwax except for the engineers initials JD (John
Davis) which was hand scribed. It makes me suspect that records in Europe
were pressed at Pallas but pressed somewhere else in America. Anyway,
thanks for showing your unwrapping video. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Geoffrey Chadsey says:

Great video Mikko, happy you are enjoying them. I got the super deluxe box
of III, single vinyl of I and II, and picked up the deluxe CDs of all 3.
Loving the sound of these, and looking forward to IV in Oct. hope all is
well, take care. Geoffrey

Paneeks1960 says:

By the way, the VC’s Quentin was at the pre-listening party at the Olympia
in France from the video link that I sent to you. It was by invitation only
and Page showed up for the questions and answers. He said the atmosphere
was electric. The sound system inside was top notch.
Talk to you soon~
Rob

tuturtle says:

Hi Mikko, Thanks for showing these, the packaging looks excellent. I was
going to only buy the single LP versions, but “Zep I” having that live
concert means I will get the deluxe version of that album. How do they
sound!, that’s the most important bit. The HD downloads are excellent, but
a bit splashy! Cheers Tudor

Blaze Cap says:

This is why I stopped collecting vinyl….. Ex here: Concerned so much
about the shrink wrap ( as some commentators are as well). It becomes less
and less about the music…. At least for me it did.

Paneeks1960 says:

I like your tour jersey. It looks just like mine from the tour except for
the trip on the sleeves and collar.
Thanks for sharing the opening of the first three in the discography Mikko.
I will be doing a follow up to this that I hope you will tune into.
The one thing that I will mention to you is in the States the production
for Mighty Blimp III was delayed. They only produced 35% of all orders. I
spoke with two different store managers in Massachusetts and they both
stated that Record Store Day backed up the production of LZ III pressings.
I spoke to someone at Zeppelin’s official website : Live Listening Event w/
Special Guest Jimmy Page From L’Olympia, Paris, France (ENGLISH ONLY), and
they said that the demand from all three of these albums were astronomical.
They kept a tally and 100,000 albums were sold on pre-orders alone. It
seems that the public’s demand for the band has not diminished a bit.
It pleases me to see you wearing the jersey as you opened the LP’s. Enjoy
the companion discs on the II’d and the III’d album. They are outstanding.
The best is yet to come~
Rob/Boston

megatrends says:

I have the USA versions and the stickers aren’t on the front cover. They
were on the shrink. Also I hope you kept your tracklist stuck to the shrink
because they come off easily if you peel them. I re-stuck mine on a poly
clear sleeve so it looks like when it came with shrink.
