At around the 4:30 mark, SportsCenter started doing highlights of the AL East, so I got a little distracted. But this is how to play it.

Very good young man.

θοδωρης μετζελος says:

…Ι dont believe that anyone who is familiar with the guitar and knows
about this legendary song and all that it takes to master would ever
expect to hear the solo in this video especially when the musician is
holding an acoustic guitar….Iam even surprised he managed to play that
much from the song and with fair accuracy as well….it was a sincere
effort by privettricker who has offered us many nice songs so far free of
charge and he should be treated accordingly….with respect and gratitude.

Where’s the solo? You started at lead and pussied out to rythmn.

Richard Kopernak says:

As many times as I have watched this, and for as much as I have learned on
how to play Stairway, pretty sure I should send this guy a check. And to
the people whom have negative BS to say, you are all a bunch of idiots.

Samuel Caprio says:

Perfect….. that Martin really sounds great.

Kurt Viehdorfer says:

Was this by chance filmed at Guitar Center?

Skellfire33 says:

Your hands look like ET’s. Phone home my brother and tell everyone that

Good job mang! I like all the little details you got in there. I just play
it with basic chords, so it’s nice to see it done right!

I’ve watched this so many times lately, just got the little part from 7:54
down to actually finish the song with a pretty soft ending, thanks so much!
Don’t care about the solo like so many others, there are hundreds of solo
vids out there already! Great job.

LOVE IT!!! Where did you learn all the chords and stuff for the song from?
Was it from a music book or did you just listen to the song and figured it
out by yourself? I would love to know. I have tried to find the chords or
tabs for “stairway to heaven” but there are always some parts that don’t
sound as good as your version.

Most impressively accurate cover I’ve seen so far.

NJTNYP says:

Priv.. F’ing fantastic as usual. Like many many others your channel has
helped me immensely. I only now decided to look this one up because you
have got my playing to the point where I may be able to finally not butcher
this unbelievable (but yes, virtually ruined for everyone because of over
use) masterpiece. If I don’t thank you at least once every six months my
guilt pangs won’t let me sleep:) So… THANK YOU!
Oh and do the solo, post the tabs in triplicate, provide bios of everyone
who ever listened to a Zep album and cut my grass. Seriously dude it’s been
a week and it won’t just cut itself.

Sercan Yiğit says:

Must’ve been quite a challenge to play it all through at once.

Jack Nimble says:

Truly awesome. I came here looking for some tips after watching Desi
Sarna’s great video on how to play *some* of the song. There’s a lot to it,
though. A tour de force.

Andy C says:

That was brilliant that mate!

Roy Mortimer says:

Well done! I’m still learning!

bluetrain69 says:
