Robert Plant Live 9/28/2014 Brooklyn NY. I do not own any rights to this video, I saw the same video previously posted on You Tube but the video was choppy and out of sinc. For those of us Super fans of RP I found a better version. Please visit the NPR site to get the details of this show and here’s where it came from: http://www.nonesuch.com/journal/watch-robert-plant-nonesuch-records-bam-concert-npr-music-2014-09-29. Thanks to nonesuch for providing…this show was awesome. Turn it Up & Enjoy:)
I love Robert Plant, and of course Led Zeppelin. But Plant is so
contradictory…. He states that he doesn’t want to tour as Led Zeppelin
and just become a “greatest hits jukebox”, but he has been increasing the
amount of Zeppelin included in his solo shows over the past years. And he
claims to not care for “heavy music” anymore. Yet this show rocks at
several points during the performance. And the other members of Zeppelin
would gladly indulge his creative ventures with new material. So I just
don’t get it. To say he can be more expressive on his own than he could
with Page, Jones, and Jason Bonham…. well I just don’t believe that is
true. And frankly he’s been locked in this style for several albums now,
when before, each Robert Plant album used to be a gigantic departure from
the last one. Now he just changes musicians constantly and just tweaks
little bits here and there. And it becomes less and less and less
interesting over time. It just all kinda starts sounding very linear,
droney, and trance-like…. which is cool in bits and pieces. But not the
way he’s just going on and on with it (for how many albums now?). I
personally think he’s got some anger issues with Jimmy Page that he needs
to sort out. They need to just sit down and deal with all the angst that
was building towards the end of Zeppelin and work it out. I thought that
might happen with the Page/Plant venture. But it didn’t.

#RobertPlant
“No Quarter”
“Poor Howard”
“Thank You”
“Turn It Up ”
“Rainbow”
“Going To California”
“A Stolen Kiss”
“What Is And What Should Never Be”
“No Place To Go”
“Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You”
“Funny In My Mind (I Believe I’m Fixin’ To Die)”
“Whole Lotta Love”
“Little Maggie”
How odd. I’m not a fanatic about Led Zep, except for their first album,
which blew me (and everyone else in the dorm) away in my last semester of
college, Spring of ’69. Why? Didn’t like Robert’s voice all that much. But
don’t misunderstand, I know how amazing they are.
Fast-forward to now, and I find myself listening to his latest GREAT
record, Lullaby, etc, over and over. Why? Geez, just such beautiful,
haunting, mystical songs. Strange, to me at least, strange that I would
even be listening.

Great, really great ! I never heard to Plant’s work “alone”, and I’m very
impressed. But like Scott who posted such a message one month ago, I wonder
why he doesn’t want any more concerts with Plant, Jones and Bonham Jr,
while he continues to play LZ songs (and to write new songs who could have
been on LZ repertory).
*F*U*C*K*…. Plant 2015 is as great as he was with Led Zepplin. Turn it on
and Little Maggie are as same sensationel as Kashmir and the Battle
were…. WOW and THANK YOU
Doesn’t wanna do Zep because wants to try new things…
Half the fuckin playlist is Zep…dafuq
love that voice……without Robert there wouldnt have been Led
Zeppelin…..so thx Robert…
Danke für das Einstellen. Spielt am 29.07.2015 in der Jahrhunderthalle in

I am a heterosexual male , and I still think Robert Plant is one sexy
motherfucker.!!!
It is all about the music, and not the money. You have to understand his
side of it, to gain a better understanding of why he turned that money
down. He’s a great performer and would go to one of his concerts in a heart
beat, zepplin or no zepplin
WHAT AN ASSHOLE ROBERT PLANT IS… HE IS OFFERED A HALF A BILLION DOLLARS
TO DO A LED ZEPPELIN TOUR OF 35 SHOWS BY SIR RICHARD BRANSON AND TURNS IT
DOWN.. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT BUT FOR FUCK SAKES, YOU TOUR WITH THESE GUYS
BUT NOT ZEPPELIN… ASSHOLE!!!!!!!
Our #1 ranked album for 2014 is “Lullaby and The Ceaseless Deram” by Robert
Plant. Check him out nprmusic at http://buff.ly/1ySyG8t

When you mix passion with fantasy you get Mr. Plant still flying high with
an amazing band playing light and heavy at the same time going from old Zep
stuff to new lullabies …ain’t no fucking helicopter drone here , this is
the real balloon loaded with flamable gas ready to blow up when poked
through .
