Love the bassline in this one.
some kid said game of thrones was better than Lord of the Rings.
My only argument was: Game of thrones never got a Led Zeppelin song,
therefore that is impossible.
Consider for a moment when this came out, 1969. Consider at that time we
have bands such as The Stones, Jefferson Starship, Beatles among many
others and of course the height of Motown. Think how out of sync this style
was, how ground breaking it was for the time period. How the recording and
the sounds trounced every other act out there. Zep where not just brilliant
they where pioneers who understood how to inject kick ass blues into there
music and make it something completely different!!
It’s always a good time to listen to some Led Zeppelin. m/

As with so many Zep songs this features a simply delicious bassline that
keeps the whole thing together. JPJ only gets overlooked because of his
proximity to the two (three?) superstars in the ensemble. Such pure notes.
