Stop this useless obvious crap about ” he’s not like his father”, of course
he’s not.
But among all drummers, for sure he sounds like his father more than
anybody else.
Does Dweezil Zappa plays or compose like his father? Of course not, would
be impossible, but he is a very good guitarist and makes the best covers
of his father’s music.
Jason is amazing. He fucking is AMAZING.
But he’s not his father; that is not in any way, meant to discredit him nor
to say he’s a bad drummer. I don’t think, in Jason’s lifetime, anyone will
ever get close to John’s level. (Except maybe Peart, Rich.)
STOP talking! Jason is on drums for fucks sake.

You can’t watch a performance like that and think Jason Bonham doesn’t work
hard for a living. The guy deserves all the respect and accolades that come
his way. He’s earned them.

I think it’s excellent that he is living his dad’s dreams . I think his dad
is looking down and very proud. He’s not his dad but he is the next best
thing . The band also gave him the OK . Keep doing what your doing by
keeping this great music alive . I think his dad would also give the rest
of the band his OK . I don’t really get why plant won’t tour . What father
wouldn’t want his to experience what he has . Keep it up jason . All I want
to know is why so many city’s have been canceled?

Jason is doing right by his father …John would love to have seen his son

That’s the problem with a modern jealous society. How sad it is.. Jason
his son talks so highly of his Father… Passed away … and all of a
sudden its peoples perception …Money ,Financial gain …absolute jealous
arseholes …I am sure Jason would give anything to have his father back
with him in the flesh….

Jason Bonham is pure rock drummer. His father actually listened to jazz
drummers such as Philly Joe, and Joe Morello. I’m sorry to say, his father
had touch, and feel compared to his son. Pull up any John Bonham Moby Dick
video on Youtube, and it’s obvious the offspring didn’t get the complete
lesson. And many of you ask why LZ isn’t a regular touring band?
Only his dad defined the art of playing with his hands. Still Jason is
amazing and continues to carry on the family name.
Seems a nice enough guy, but pimping out your dead father for financial
gain is it a bit poor imo

Solo isnt the same and ritham not the same, tempo is faster, sound is

He asks everyone to please be quiet and of course the first thing they do
is start yelling. Audiences now absolutely SUCK, especially in the states.
There is always some drunk chick going “WHOOOOOOO”. Idiots. They used to

About the only thing Jason has in common with his Father, besides the last
name, is his love for music. I met a young Jason Bonham after a concert
promoting Jason’s first album. He was a very nice guy, but nowhere near his
Father playing wise.
