sorry, i’ve only just seen this. i’ve seen other guys who do this make
youtube playlists for lessons for each album, so physical graffiti
playlist, houses of the holy playlist etc..

* THE ROVER * New Video *
I accidentally released the unfinished video earlier today before I was
done with it-sorry!

Николай Осколков says:

In US tour 1977 Page actually used the Rover intro for the Sick Again. I
dont remember exact concert, but, is u if you havent heard LedZeppelin
Bootlegs before – lol you’re such a loser!
Oh, by the way, how much it costs to advertise?

The1WhoKnowsTheTruth says:

I was wondering when you were finally gonna post this one up Terry.

When I think of Bonham (and Zeppelin for that matter), I always think of
this song.

Just a killer monster intro. Keep up the great work.

Jeremy Tooktashina says:

Think you rest on your floor tom a little too heavily. The drums were
sounding great in the first section of the video. What kind of piccolo
snare is that? Your the only person who makes PST5 sound cool :)

Wes Hampson says:

“YOUR AD HERE!”
Ha! Mr. Keating, you are hilarious!

Adrenaline Drumming says:

Thanks for this, Terry. One of my fave Zep songs. You broke it down and
explained it well.
I’ve posted a video of the intro on my Channel.

Brian May says:

What’s with all the fuckin swearing, dude?

Earthbound123 says:

10:00 do a side at a time. so pick a side of any album and do that much and
ask people what side they would vote for- thatd be kinda interesting to
hear and to just think about…

Jeff True says:

What type of kick pedal do you use/prefer? I guess what type makes doing
bonzo triplets easier is what id like to know. Thank you terry for awesome
how to videos

BrainDetail2020 says:

I’m not sure what ad to place there, ha ha…possibly the anti plumbers
butt shirts I’ve seen advertised on TV. Great channel dude… Peace, B.

musicalchairs777 says:

Spot on feel on this one, nailed it! The hats sound great too.A while back I
saw the videos on your cymbal collection and as a fan,I’d appreciate being
able to hear some of them in action, like the black label 2002’s,Giant
Beats,602s,and some of the old Zildjians,UFIPs,etc..Thanks for another
great video!

Mick mcDick says:

Terry thanks for this. The Rover is one of the first, maybe the first song,
i wanted to learn as a drummer. it is totally Zeppescent. quintizeppescent,
actually.
keep on keepin on bro.

Brent Woolard says:

I wish you lived in Seattle!

drumroll86 says:

Shorter video… lolrz. Love ya Terry.

TheRover1977 says:

Terry! Love the detailed videos man, I’ve been watching you tutorials for
so long, I’ve learned so much from you and your playing! I’ve got a
question for you: have you ever done a video on a drum fill that Bonzo did
prominently in 68-69? The one I’m talking about is easily heard in For Your
Love from the Whiskey A Go-Go in 1969, approx 1:38 into the song. You
probably have done something on it but I might as well ask! Link below to

I just got an addition to my ever-growing drum collection: a early 1950’s
Slingerland Radio King kit in WMP w/ a 26″ kick. Once I get them cleaned up
I’m gonna be doing more covers and I need to get my chops up another level
with a kit like that! Thanks Terry, keep up the great work man!
Luke

Legare Drummer says:

hey terry, this is a great video, I’m a huge fan. I just wondered why you
decided to use the pst 5 crash on your kit instead of the pst 7 or 2002
crash. I’ve been looking to buy a set of pst 7’s and was wondering if you
think I should purchase these, or save up some money and purchase a higher
quality cymbal like the 2002’s. Thanks terry, keep rocking!

Tom Holbrook says:

Are you really only 25, Terry? Fooled me :)

dangerousrhythm77 says:

imo physical graffiti is zep’s best album, and in large part due to bonham
being in top form. all four sides swagger and groove relentlessly. great
demo

CriticalApplication says:

Ron Nevison who worked on this album said Bonham always insisted where his
mics were placed and knew what drum sound he wanted so he had ultimate
input on that.

MrSnarey says:

Terry, why don’t you put out some video’s playing a kit with Bonzo sizes ?
Martyn

Julian Perrotta says:

Once again brilliant vid!
Not sure if I have missed it, but I would love to see a lesson on misty
mountain hop.. In my opinion one of bonhams most powerful performances
