Amazing timing and prescense
I went to Led Zep Concert on July 21, 1973 at The Providence Civic Center,
in Rhode Island. It was the best show I have ever seen, to this day. When
they played The Ocean song the small 16K seat arena had a Dry-Ice Show that
started behind the stage and rolled-off the top of the stage and down the
front rows like a waterfall. The Company that supplied the Dry Ice
delivered more than 10-Times what the original order was, so they used it
all anyway. The entire arena was one thick fog of smoke and it dropped the
inside Temp at least 30 to 40 degrees. it was like Instant
Air-conditioning. It was so hot that night the Dry Ice was a gift from God.
When I had dinner w/Robert Plant in 1990 we talked about this Concert and
he remembered the massive Dry Ice Show, it was the biggest he has ever seen
also. And someone threw a 1/4 lb. Cheech and Chong Big Bamboo Joint
on the stage and Robert held it up and the crowd went nuts.
There were 100s of small joints thrown on the stage. Robert threw it at a
Security Guards head, it was so funny.
try to sit still when listening to this magic. no group of today even comes
close to the talent these guys had when playing together.

Oh ya….70’s ALL ZEPPELIN….I remember coming home after school with
friends adults at work…. so we had Surround Sound System in the huge
entertaining Den and the Stereo Cranked so loud and we would put on Led
Zeppelin albums that I had and have it almost as loud as it would go and
play albums front to back ..Every song sounded so good!!! Lots of good
memories takes me back loved this song back then it couldn’t get any better
then this.
