This is my cover to The Ocean by LZ.

Ive always loved this song, it was one of the first tunes I ever learnt on guitar and Im glad I finally gave it a try on video.

I recorded this song with 1 lead guitar on the center of the mix playing during the whole song. Also 2 rhythm guitars appear during the main solo and outro solo and another guitar track appears only during the outro solo to play the harmonic parts.
Although I added some details, you could say this is the Studio Version.

I hope you like this humble video.
Thanks for watching!

Yes I used a wah pedal during the whole song (turned on, and set all the
way up for a a nasal’ish tone) and I moved it just during the solo and to
emphatize some chords.

BHAKTI BROPHY says:

+Jason Becker Gabs…was listening to Zep on the Tube and found this guy.
His playing stood out for me. I thought you would appreciate his beautiful
tone.

I suggested just fine tuning his bends and timing on the leads a bit.
That’s it…and…wahlah! WAH WAH!

He’s got the mojo, tho…dontcha think?

I love it!!!!

WildBillHabiki says:

AWESOME MAN! sorry for the caps i was stoked. Ever played an SG? My buddy
has the Les Paul version. He’s had it since 1977. It’s unique and I think
pretty valuable.

Anant Goswami says:

Jon king says:

Rafael Queiroz says:

You are a amazing guitarist. Congratulations
Did you use a wah pedal in this video?

BHAKTI BROPHY says:

Glorious intro.

Constructive criticism?

Watch your timing on the leads (forget a metronome, just FEEL it), and make
sure you hit your target notes when you bend the strings (practice until
perfect).

You’ve got it going on…keep going!

Having musical talent is a blessing.
I haven’t been able to play properly for over ten years due to spinal
injury and disease.
I still write almost daily.

Play a tune for me (THE RAIN SONG?)…and promise you’ll never stop playing
and learning!

By the way…your tone is spot on!

Thumbs WAY up!!!

Bravo!

fantastic it would be to have everything it takes to put something like
this together & a place to showcase it to millions & what a intense way to
get a look at yourself.

pregunta mas sabes la afinación para Heartbreaker

MrMeriojajaja says:

Por qué a ti no te bloquean el audio y a mi sí?? Hice un video con la misma
pista de acompañamiento…

gewerh44 says:

you mean, you have to use high volume for better sound? For tube amps, yes.
On the proper room, you get the best sound from a tube amp when you crank
the volume all the way up. But to be honest, I cant do that at home. I can
only use it half the way, and thats loud enough. Only one time used it at
full volume during a gig, and man, it sounded beautiful. Crunchy, spongy
tone with dynamics at their best.

George Kostopoulos says:

thank you very much for the answer!
