IF THE SUN REFUSED TO SHINE
I WOULD STILL BE LOVING YOU
WHEN MOUNTAINS CRUMBLE TO THE SEA
THERE WOULD STILL BE YOU AND ME
KIND WOMAN, I GIVE YOU MY ALL
KIND WOMAN, NOTHING MORE
LITTLE DROPS OF RAIN, WHISPER ON THE PAIN
TEARS OF LOVE LOST IN THE DAYS GONE BY
MY LOVE IS STRONG, HERE THERE IS NO WRONG
TOGETHER WE SHALL GO UNTILL WE DIE
MY MY MY
INSPIRATION IS WHAT YOU ARE TO ME
INSPIRATION, LOVE YOU SEE
AND SO TODAY, MY WORLD, IT SMILES
YOUR HAND IN MINE, WE WALK THE MILES
BUT THANKS TO YOU IT WILL BE DONE
FOR YOU TO ME ARE THE ONLY ONE
ALRIGHT YEAH
HAPPINESS, NO MORE I’M SAD
HAPPINESS, I’M GLAD
IF THE SUN REFUSED TO SHINE
I WOULD STILL BE LOVING YOU
IF MOUNTAINS CRUMBLE TO THE SEA
THERE WOULD STILL BE YOU AND ME
(Page, Plant)
From 1969’s LeD ZePPeLiN II, this is “Thank You” (Page, PlantI) performed by Scott Wigley from Wilcox Road, Alabama on “JoJo” (his Martin D12-28).
Nailed it!
That was really beautiful…thank you.
Wow, very nice.
AWESOME MAN!! THANKS TO YOU FOR THIS!!
Nice cover, and cool guitar cave. Looks as if you’re missing some strings –
or do you use some different coloured bridge pins?
Well Done mate.cool room too.
what ttunning are you using bro??
love it!
@motorcycledude1000 Thank you, yeah having my hero’s up on my music room
walls keeps me young 🙂
one of my favorite zep songs sounds great ecspicially with that 12 string
good job
Inspiration’s what you are to me, inspiration love you see NOT inspiration
look and see everybody that puts the lyric’s up gets that line wrong.
Thanks for not only putting it up correct but singing it correct. Thank you
by zeppelin & Thank you.
@wichitatrainwhistle Thank you, yes you have a good eye, I actually “cheat”
on my 12 string, it’s actually an “8” string, the only doubled strings are
the G and the D, I used larger guage strings for the B and the small E. The
A and low E pegs are made of Rosewood and then the others are the original
Martin pegs.
Hi, this is in standard tuning except for the low E being tuned down to D.
@elcompaperu
Very nicely done!
No one plays like you, Scott…..beautiful cover of this great Zeppelin
classic…Awesome Audio!!
Wonderful cover!
Did you know that this was the first song that Rob Plant wrote the lyrics
for. I do my own rendition, slightly altered D riff. I played with these
guys in the park and the two patterns sound awesome overlapped. I wonder
how it would sound with that 12 string. The alternate lyrics in my video
were sung by Plant while playing live for New Orleans with Pearl Jam. I
hope you take a look at mine. PS – Thanks.
very good..
REALLY GREAT.. i almost like it more than the really thing
