Presence is the seventh studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released by Swan Song Records on 31 March 1976. The album was written and recorded during a tumultuous time in the band’s history, as singer Robert Plant was recuperating from serious injuries he had sustained in a recent car accident. The album received mixed reviews from critics and is one of the lowest sellers in the band’s catalogue.

Line-Up:

Jimmy Page — electric guitars, acoustic guitar and production
John Bonham — drums, percussion
John Paul Jones — 4 and 8-string bass guitars
Robert Plant — lead vocals, harmonica

Amo essa musica

John Baker says:

My wife and I are separated a day or two a week because of work. When we
are, this is how I feel. I truly think that is what this song is
about, yearning to be with the ones you love and how it makes you feel
inside, empty and incomplete.

Danny Ware says:

Proof positive that Zeppelin was a blues band from start to
finish….Cosmic blues…Another level….”I’ve been watchin’ for the hands
to move….”

I’m gonna be honest, this song is so boring. I mean, I love Led Zep, but
this just sounds like a lazy, boring, and rehashed version of Since I’ve
been Loving You (which Page admitted that he reworked the chords from
Loving You and made this song) which is a much better song. Also, Plant
sounds like he’s gonna fall asleep at any second. I don’t know which album
is worse this one or In Through The Out Door.

michael banks says:

The passion, the light, the shade……..this one had it all. Long live the
“Gods of Valhalla” and their muse.

willy smith says:

Presence is one of my favorite Led Zep albums. Strange the reviews on it
at the time, as I feel the band just shines on this album. They say it was
slapped together in a hurry. You would never know it. Robert Plant and
especially the guitar crew (Page and Jones) just are so great, especially
with tea for one, which is one of my absolute favorites. I could listen to
it all day. Presence is an album that always plays on repeat! : )
