First national TV interview with Robert Plant to coincide with his solo tour. It was the first time out for the former Led Zeppelin frontman. The interview aired on the television series Friday Night Videos and was conducted by Denny Somach. The setting is the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
yea ,he is a very psitive figure in “hard rock” . he is the good side of it
,it reflects to this day in everything he does. i really like your comment
!!!
yea he IS ROCK N ROLL to me
His interviews are admittedly boring (probably doesn’t enjoy doing them),
but as a personality I don’t think he is. Or if some people’s definition of
“exciting” is being a pompous jerk who acts like he’s forever 18, then I’d
rather that he be “boring”.
I always thought big log was a terrible name for the song which is quiet
good.
stairway to heaven and big log damn
He really is a very positive, very calm and quiet person…
This might sound wierd but he looks older here than now.
When I was a teenager, going through the partying and the drugs and all I
was feeling very dark. Robert and his positive side helped me get through
that. I love this guy. Thanks Robert.
@niallvan well we all could tell that he was still grieving over bonzo back
then, see it in his face ,his tone ,his mood their whole lives changed & he
lost his friend he grew up wth. pagey too couldnt hide it
@birdie2219 I guess drugs helped a bit 🙁
1:40 thank god this didnt become of led zeppelin.
I feel like all of a sudden he stepped away from songs that were similar
like LedZep songs and he just went full 80s
he looks soo very different compared to 7 years before…like its a
different guy but same voice.
I like robert’s personality, but some people think he is boring
