A comparison of two Led Zeppelin “best of” albums. Both very excellent sets, but one is better than the other. Tune in to find out which one is best in my opinion!

the 1993 led zeppelin complete studio recordings cd box set is the best if
you want every thing they recorded in the studio like myself , i own that
awesome , but as far as best of cd’s i would choose early days and latter
days

KWETribute says:

Yeah, I can see where having what is the most complete group of their
recordings, considering it is all nine of their studio albums packaged
together, would be desirable. To be honest, I’m not a major fan, so
Mothership was the most economical option to get some Zep into my CD
collection. I do see where Early Days and Latter Days has a somewhat
different composition than Mothership, with each including a few songs the
other doesn’t have.

KWETribute says:

Excellent comparison, well broken down by speaking about each greatest hits
package individually before comparing & contrasting them. As you know, I
own Mothership ($10 at HMV), which is sufficient for me. It’s typical for
top acts from previous decades to have record labels repackage & reissue
songs as a greatest hits CD / double CD, as a compilation (songs, but not
necessarily the hits) or as a boxed set. Two Zeppelin boxed sets were
issued in the early 90s & there are other packages, too.
