Jimmy Page is the greatest lead guitar ever (even better than Hendrix). If
anything, he is under-rated.

N’ WHITE. PLANT’S VOICE IS SO SMOOTH, PAGE’S GUITAR LIKE SILK…..LOVE THE
HELL OUT OF THIS MUSIC ALL THESE DECADES, NOONE COMES CLOSE…….STILL.
NEVER WILL; LIKE WOODSTOCK, IT’S A ONE TIME ONLY EXPERIENCE.

Alistair – although I still think Hendrix is over-rated, it’s good for all
guitarists (like me) to be inspired by SOMEBODY. I just wish I had youtube
when I started playing. If I had all the “how to play” videos I’d be much
better today.
This Croud Is a Joke!!! They really Look enthuised Dont they? They
dont deserve Led zeppelin, The need herman hermits, or the rebell
riders,,or the Monkeys, This is just Too complicated for them , there
comprehension levell is not at par when it comes too extreme talent,,
they Just dont know,,,Good Gosh what a Pathetic Audience,,,,
Love the early Zeppelin’s live performances so much better than the later
ones.
Bonham and Jones were fantastic all the way through, but Page and Plant
seem to have lost their mojo as time progressed (probably due to drugs.)
But this performance is golden. Page plays with little flaws and Plant
doesn’t stray too far from the lyrics of the original studio recording.
Jonesy and Bonzo, best rhythm section of their day.

Incredible drums by Bonham on dazed and confused. How the drums skins
aren’t smashed through is beyond me. Bonham kills those drums!!! This crowd
my have just come from a Herman Hermits concert and said themselves”WTF is
this?!?!?!” Mind blowing!!!

this is how he got his telecaster to sound so full, more like a Les Paul,
the entire first album was recorded with a telecaster and that pedal…

I was living in Brownsville, Texas at the time and word of this band made
it to my doorsteps, but I had no access to hear their music. So I wet to
the lady at the local record store (in 1969) and asked her if she could get
some of “Leo (sp.) Zepellin’s” records for me. Wow, just a junior in high
school. They became my instant favorite band!
