Pretty amazing rare film of Led Zeppelin from June 23, 1977 at the LA

during the encore. Great stuff.

bubhub64 says:

Both Moon and Bonham were known for their total destruction of hotel rooms.
Two crazy dudes. Can you imagine how much alcohol was consumed between
them! May they both be resting in peace. Sure do miss them.

Dwayne Wladyka says:

+nkmcfrln I think you are spot on with your comments. Even today, most
recordings of concerts using smartphones are crap. They’re blurry and shaky
at times. The sound quality can be compromised too. The angles of these
particular snippets are from a vantage point of an audience member. It
certainly looks like it. See the Led Zeppelin DVD’s. It’s professionally
done. These are far from that. Indeed.

Ratelzwatel says:

9:00 The blurry picture makes Bonham and Moon, now both deceased, look like
two ghosts. Spooooky! :)

Jaxpatricia Patricia24 says:

That was amazing! Fan of Led Zepplin and a HUGE FAN of KEITH MOON that was
simply amazing. . Boy was I born in the wrong era

Dwayne Wladyka says:

+nkmcfrln If Peter Grant, Richard Cole and the members of Led Zeppelin had
a cameraman who was supposed to help film a concert, and they did this,
they’d be in big trouble. This was from an audience member or members. It
has to be.

Lee Pizzini says:

The shows from California on the `77 Tour were iconic. This one with Moon
would have been so cool to be at! What a Wildman!

JohnFive Eagles Szuros says:

I rewmember I owned a bootleg with Keith Moon playing on John Bonham’s 25th

Charles shutters says:

Edward Parker says:

Sure, Zeppelin took credit for songs they didn’t write. I don’t condone it
but everyone’s a thief. Now then, songs that are completely or LARGELY
original from the first four Zeppelin albums include: “Good Times Bad
Times,” “Your Time Is Gonna Come,” “Communication Breakdown,” “What Is And
What Should Never Be,” “Thank You,” “Heartbreaker,” “Living Loving Maid
(She’s Just A Woman),” “Ramble On,” “Bring It On Home” (middle section
only), “Immigrant Song,” “Friends,” “Celebration Day,” “Since I’ve Been
Loving You,” “Out On The Tiles,” “Tangerine” (Page wrote the music in his
days as a Yardbird), “That’s The Way,” “Black Dog,” “Rock And Roll” (the
intro was inspired by Little Richard’s version of “Keep A-Knockin’ (But You
Can’t Come In),” itself a blues that goes back to 1928 by James “Boodle-It”
Wiggins & Bob Call), “The Battle Of Evermore,” “Stairway To Heaven” (only a
small part duplicates Spirit’s “Taurus”), “Four Sticks,” and “Going To
California”. The main riff from “Misty Mountain Hop” comes from a 1966
record by David Clayton Thomas & The Bossmen called “Brainwashed”. I
listed 22 songs. Considering there are a total of 36 tracks that make up
the first four Led Zeppelin albums, that’s hardly 90%. Having said this,
even the songs that they flat-out stole – namely from the blues greats –
were given original arrangements. Considering that they DID give credit to
Willie Dixon for “I Can’t Quit You Baby” and “You Shook Me,” and to Memphis
Minnie (co-writing credit) for “When The Levee Breaks,” well, Zeppelin,
while still thieves (again, as is everyone else) aren’t as evil as they’re
made out to be.

Paul Clifford says:

wow..well done whomever recorded this without getting their camera and
person destroyed by John Bindon..

Greg Kucheran says:

Incredible to see, a historic moment indeed!

Julieth P. says:

The best thing i’ve ever see

Simon Jacobs says:

Where is the rest of the film footage from that night? Where is the rest
of John’s drum solo from this show? There has to be a lot more footage
that has not been released. As high profile as Zeppelin was, it’s hard to
imagine there was not a camera rolling every show. There simply has to be
more. Cough it up…..all of it!

Joe Nocella says:

Keith can get away with that nonsense because the Who were superstars at
that time.

Dean Driver says:

That’s it Bonzo show Moonie how is done..

can't you hear me knocking says:

James McEvoy says:
