Happy Birthday Robert Plant ~~Page explained:

“ When I auditioned him and heard him sing, I immediately thought there
must be something wrong with him personality-wise or that he had to be
impossible to work with, because I just could not understand why, after he
told me he’d been singing for a few years already, he hadn’t become a big
name yet. So I had him down to my place for a little while, just to sort of
check him out, and we got along great. No problems.[16]

Alex Helenius says:

Jimmy Page is using a Telecaster here. This was his main guitar from his
early days in the Yardbirds, up until perhaps the second Zeppelin Album. He
moved on to a Gibson Les Paul. The telecaster sound, is what really drove
the guitar work and gave him that snappy fuller sound. For live
performances later on in Zep’s career he went with the Les Paul as it gave
him a bigger sound. I however think Telecasters rule and if people want to
cover page should use one!

I think John Paul Jones is the most overlooked, but always slow steady and
brilliant. I think he arranged everything beautifully. You can see his work
on movies like Dirty Harry’s soundtrack as well.
