Led Zeppelin discography review.
When the levee breaks its so underrated //_u
Beatles and Led Zeppelin definitely one of my favorites. Its impossible not
to like Beatles and Led Zeppelin.
Here’s my favorite song on each led zeppelin album:
led zeppelin – communication breakdown
II – whole lotta love
III – since i’ve been lovin you
IV – stairway to heaven
houses of the holy – the song remains the same
physical graffiti – kashmir
presence – for your life
in through the out door – all my love
coda – ozone baby
Dazed and Confused live was the best song live they ever did. (28 min.
Version)
You didn’t mention Coda
Wrong, just plain wrong. I usually respect people’s opinions, but this
just crosses the line. No Quarter and the Ocean would both be in my top
ten songs, you forgot Coda, Physical Graffiti is overrated and really only
half of it is good (in my opinion), and The Song Remains the Same is by far
their worst live album (yes, it beats the BBC Sessions). Plant’s vocals on
Stairway to Heaven on it are poor and kinda lazy sounding, Page’s guitar
sounds kinda sloppy and it and the bass and drums aren’t entirely prominent
(so in other words, the studio version is vastly superior to this live one
and I find it fairly hard to get through). Overall, I really think it’s
not a very good performance. How the West Was Won is their best, but
Celebration Day is pretty good too.
Here are the Zepp albums rated properly:
Led Zeppelin 10/10 Favorite:Babe I’m Gonna Leave You
Led Zeppelin II 10/10 Fav: What is and What Should Never Be
Led Zeppelin III 10/10 Best: Since I’ve Been Loving You
Led Zeppelin IV (ZoSo) 10/10 Favorite(though cliche): Stairway to Heaven
Houses of the Holy 10/10 Fav: The Ocean
Physical Graffiti 7/10 Fav: Ten Years Gone
Presence 6/10 Fav: Achilles Last Stand
In Through the Out Door 10/10 Fav: Fool in the Rain (But every song is
good with the exception of Hot Dog)
Coda
With Bonus Tracks 10/10 Fav: Hey, Hey What Can I Do
Without 7/10 Fav: Poor Tom
The Song Remains the Same 5/10
How the West Was Won 10/10
BBC Sessions 5/10
Celebration Day 8/10
You should have included Coda. Even though it is just left over songs is it
considered to be an official studio album.
My Favorite Zeppelin Albums are Houses Of The Holy, and Zeppelin II, and I
Love How Many More Times ! And any Chance of a Black Sabbath Discography
Review ?
110% agree about physical graffiti being their best. they display such
great range on that one and i think they all peaked as musicians at that
point. in my time of dying has to be my favirite track on it. presence was
such a disappointing follow up
You forgot Coda
My alltime band besides The Jimi Hendrix Experience! Rock and roll!
Most overrated band ever in my opinion.
My favorites are Houses of the holy and LZ 2
