Brendan Devlin says:

X Factor aint got nothing on this, Simon Cowell would say, “its probably
the worst music i’ve ever heard” in his inimitable and monotone boring
fucking voice..

Randy Tuggle says:

Found on my Twitter account

i sold my soul for rock 'n' roll says:

*cries because of the perfection* these four guys are my heroes and i would
do anything to go back to this concert. sweet mother of jesus. this is one
of their best live performances. i mean, have you seen john paul jones?!
frickin’ genius. let’s not forget bonzo’s amazing drumming and robert’s
super sexy bluesy voice. and jimmy’s guitar playing is just from another
planet.
they just are my most favourite band ever and nothing can top them. ♥︎

Cynthia Brown says:

7:56 John Paul Jones blows my mind I don’t know how he keeps up with page
from there on. Fucking amazing.

Ross Childs says:

Can someone please Please PLEASE explain how Jimmy gets that
fuzzy-fantastic tone in this?? I am dying for a tone like that.

SportsPhanatic17 says:

Faces *were* melted in the making of this video.

Joshua Shanks says:

I love how there are stools piled all around the stage and the people at
Denmark Radio are like, “you fuckers sit in the floor.”

Jack Mehoff says:

who are the 66 shit for brains who gave this a thumbs down ?

Zoran Kamenicki says:

I dont know much, but know that little that Page is using fuzz pedal for
solo for sure ! THis is NOT natural amp tube crancked ! For crunchy rhythm
yes, is amp overdrive, but he uses fuzz also I can recognize fuzz anytime
! I said this cause nowhere is documented that he used fuzz pedal, they
wrote he used treble booster, but here and on many other live perfm. he
used fuzz !! I dont know why he was hiding that fact, but he DID used fuzz
pedal, not less than Jimi Hendrix ! Was he ashamed of using pedal or what I
dont get it, why that fact is hidden…

rodentcafeteria says:

I’d love to know what initially inspired the “call and response” between
Page and Plant. Was it on purpose or one of those happy accidents that
they expanded on as time went by.

elvis presley says:

wow, they blow the Stones away, big time.

johney lennoso says:

As far as I know, Jimmy and Jonesy had known each other since they were
studio musicians. And Jimmy tried to pull his friend and BJ of Procol Harum
into band, but they couldn’t join. And the friend gave Jimmy the
information about a talent singer of Band of Joy, so he went to the club
and, i guess, he was astounded the man who played the drum. Jimmy Page is
very lucky man, i think.

konichiwa50 says:

COMPLETELY COOL!!!!!
I was very little when “Led” was in their prime…… BUT I remember
them!!!!!
in my “opinion” no current band or music has matched this kind of COOL!!!!!

I never get bored of the beginning of How Many More Times from this
performance. The way BIGLY finishes and blends into the intro. Fantastic. I
must have watched it half a dozen times over the years. Still gives me
tingles. :))

daniel mcdermott says:

Pinnacle of music…we’ll never have anyone like them again…what’s truly
proves their status is that after all these years they’re STILL probably
the most talked about band today

Karla rodriguez says:

I literally jump at the sight of John Paul Jones because he looks so
magical.

Tim Scott says:

This show was less than a month after they played The Wheaton Rec. Center
in suburban Md. where supposedly only 50 people showed up to watch on Jan.
20 1969, a nasty rainy cold night of Nixon’s inauguration.. There is a
documentary film about this show, and if it really happened..

eggdod says:

On Dazed and Confused-those seriously whacked out behind the nut bends and
the incredible rhythm section of the John boys and Robert’s wail. I’ll
never tire of the mighty Zep!

robion1957 says:

john paul jones, john Bonham, jimmy page, Robert plant…

ultrakool says:

i’m supposing you can get that manual bow effect on d&c with flange, phase
and a volume pedal, but idk? not a guitarist, so i’m only guessing.

Sofan Donovan says:

wow i have never seen any drummer plays like Bonzo on song Dazed And
Confused! Very Powerful!

xtop23 says:

good God….. @ 10:10 Bonzo is just ripping the asshole out of his kit.

Sifat Chowdhury says:

Also John Bonham with just one tom? nobody even knew what was coming!

Charlie Montufar says:

This is the most legendary ish I’ve seen. You can tell they were still
trying to impress. Page got the “don’t fuck up” eyes

spartajacs says:

best song in this for shure is baby im gonna leave you

MoonBeam Jim says:

…i like the 22:52 mk – to me it’s a nice movement demonstrating Zep’s
backbone- John Paul Jones- and John Bonham keeping the rhythm strong as
Page leads in with a brilliant telecaster lively tone. The sonic intensity
builds then expands as Page takes to the bow and Plant accents and pitch
matches the sonic excursion

William Barry Roberts says:

wow, their live performances were even awful in the very rudimentary
beginning…..certainly just a “studio” band

perino8855 says:

had the pleasure to see them in Detroit 1969 at the Grande ballroom. Warm
up band for Vanilla Fudge….blew everybody out of there shoes. I was 9
years old and it changed my life in an instant. My Dad managed the other
warm up band. He decided to take me and I am so thankful. RIP Pops

Sifat Chowdhury says:

I love how such basic licks developed over time, compare to how the west

Jimmy Page ruins every bow he touches, because the damn thing can’t handle
how much awesome he outputs.

John Bonham played outstanding at this gig and Plant’s voice was never
