Jimmy Page tripping over his own two feet on stage = better playing than
most bands around today .. 😉 he almost tripped around 7:30 in the video

Jimmy Page is undoubtedly extremely out of this word-gifted/talented.. but
please someone explain to me how Robert Plant was able to emit such
entrancing sounds? His voice is nearly unparalleled.

They were definitely in tune with the cozmos on this performance. This is
the night Thor passed down the hammer to pay homage to the greatest rock n
roll band the world has ever seen or ever will

I don’t know I was not there but I bet that concert was only 10 or 15
dollars to go to, not a bad little show for that kind of money.
jimmy was way better before he got into the hard drugs by that i mean this
is him at his best then there is decline still one of the best
Led Zeppelin was the Heavyweight on the block back in the day. I’d like to
see the current ‘artists’ try to do something similar.
Everybody in this band was an all-star. Long Live Led Zeppelin.

I had this dvd before and the sound quality was the best. I saw it uploaded
on youtube and was like I’m gonna get that dvd. I will get around to it
eventually. the sound quality of music uploaded on youtube varies.
sometimes its somewhat out of tune in that it doesn’t quite sound like the
original album/recording.

Robert was obviously influenced by Blues artists and certainly Elvis was
his original influence. I don’t recall ever hear that he had any jazz
singers influence his style. But he definitely employed jazz style singing
on many of the live recordings I have.
You should seek out the show from Osaka September 29th, 1971 for an amazing
performance by the band as a whole and Robert in particular

covered by the Yardbirds, and later reworked by Led Zeppelin who hold a
separate copyright on the song.

Page is undoubtedly one of the greatest guitar players of all time. Around
6:50 he completely looses it. Runs out of fret board and keeps going past
the neck pickup….that’s mind boggling.

Mediocre…a Zep tribute band could do better. With Zeppelin all the magic
happens in the studio. LZ 1 and 2 are my favorite albums of all time, yet
when I see LZ do the songs live in concert they sound like shit.
