kokanee2010a says:

at approximately 2:30 you see page doing hammerons , something that eddie
vanhalen was credited with in the 80’s to be the first to do so?just like
the americans claiming that they captured the nazi enigma machine just more
false propaganda!

TheDude2366 says:

@BlahBlahBlah55209 page and plant pretty much screwed jones their whole
time together. Not sure what was with the chemistry. But if you really
followed this band over the years, it really is quite apparent.

Wish someone had made a movie during the 1&2 period, leaving the mystical
masturbation of “The song remains the same” to the boys beddy-by dreams.

TheRealCritique says:

@BlahBlahBlah55209 In the history of Zep, Page hired JPJ immediately. Page
couldn’t believe how good Plant was, and Plant came with Bonham. Jimmy Page
must’ve been the most excited guy on the planet knowing the band he had
just put together! They must’ve all creamed their pants constantly for a
year just knowing what they had. Then the real fun began!

meshuggahismylife says:

@KadeshLeMort 2:45 Dazed and Confused Led Zeppelin?

HomeMadeAbortionStew says:

Page’s dragon telecaster really was one hell of a guitar. The sound here is
so awesome.

Nik Wilson says:

1968 I think

reditch says:

There ain’t nothing like this today!

ericjungleboy says:

Robert’s voice had a wicked heavy sound to it in the early days, which he
mostly lost after his vocal chord damage in 1975. And John Bonham does
amazing fills here that he didn’t do as much of that sort of thing later
on. They were one of those bands that put so much full energy into what
they did right from the start that it just wasn’t physically possible to
keep it up for more than a few years at that level.

12fritsch says:

@UserNamei5 “no” what?

Nguli34689 says:

I liked it when Robert Plant sang: “…gonna send you to Hell.” better than
“…gonna send you the bill.”
