Page’s bend lick at 1:46, is one nasty sounding riff! It raises the hairs
on the back of my neck!
OK, I’ve been listening to Led Zep for forty years, and here are my
conclusions. Mr. Plant can sing, but he is not what you would call an
interpretive singer. John Bonham was a good drummer. I have heard lots of
good drummers. John Paul Jones is a good musician.
Jimmy Page is a fucking phenomenon. He may be an alien. I have watched
videos of him playing, and I just can’t see how he does it, or how he
produces the sound he does. He makes it look effortless. Thanks, Jimmy.
LOVE JIMMY PAGE!!!
2 “Black Dog” from Led Zeppelin (0:12-0:20). This may be bassist John Paul
Jones’ most enduring contributions to the Zeppelin catalog. While the riff
is straightforward, there’s much discussion on how to count it. Following
Robert Plant’s opening vocal, the riff begins with e three sixteenth-note
pickup into a bar of 4/4, where everything is hunky-dory. The phrase that
starts on 6 comprises a bar of 5/8 and segues to an accented A5 chord as
Plant begins the next vocal line in 4/4. This is usually where counting
opinions begin to differ. Listen closely to the studio recording, and
you’ll periodically hear what sounds like a faint click of Bonham’s sticks
cueing the band back into the pickup following slightly rubato bars of 4/4
and 5/4.
Zeppelin sold out every venue because they were the epitome of rock and
roll, not because page mastered the fret board like Satriani or John
Petrucci. You guys that live in a world of tabs and guitar theory would
never understand what real rock and roll is about, hence the slow death and
decline of rock today, trying to be perfect in a world that was never meant
to be that way.
a few days late, happy birthday Pagey…. James Patrick Page m/

morning!
an excellent example of how Zepp’s best songs (and there were a lot of
them) had such great, catchy melodic elements and creative guitar riffs –
perfect hooks that really grabbed you and held you in for the full ride….
I just wish that ride would have lasted longer.
Love you, Jimmy ” pretty boy” Page. Amazing guitarist ;)
I like this but it sounds like a particularly good high school band.
Hey, hey momma…
#Legends #ledzeppelin

What a band! Amazing sound!!
Great song!!
Powerful!!
Now I’m not gay, but wow Robertv Plant was so, so wildly macho and sexy an
all ..back then…..great for him. My Idol. Good on you Robert Plant …you
great ROCKER!
Kurang bagus, karena tidak bisa offine
Oh yeah Robert Plant is gorgeous and a great singer

E uma viagem nos velhos e bons tempos…
1973, Live in NYC. One of the greatest rock performances, ever…
La más clásica de las clásicas…perro negro.
Where’s the bring it on home intro?
I saw Jimmy Page on “Dave Letterman” the other day. He’s got an
autobiography coming out …. there are tons of photos is this book. He
showed some and I would love to get this book, but it’s probably going to
be a little too expensive. I’ve found that the more photographs are in a
book, the more expensive it will be …. but I bet he’s got a lot of VERY
INTERESTING STORIES to tell (lol) 😀
Anyways the music he, Robert Plant and the rest of Led Zeppelin produced
will always remain classics !!!!
any gay managers couldn’t bring them down
good guys with best creations
only he can get away with wearing that top
Magnifique Robert plant!
