Roberto Gaspar says:

There are bands. There are rock bands… and there is LED ZEPPELIN.

Weapons Education says:

Every song on the Presence album was written & recorded in 3 weeks within a
mansion in the UK. Amazing talent that we don’t see today.

nimim. Marko Mikkilä says:

That guy on the guitar looks and acts like a rock star!:)

luv basses says:

…the importance of John Bonham was never more evident here…especially
on this song. Could you (if you were in the potential line-up of
replacement drummers) ever imagine the fear and intimidation you would have
in your stomach pit in the event you were to ever audition for these guys
after John’s passing? I’m not entirely sure that anyone could’ve ever
replaced him…

moreblack says:

Hammer of the gods indeed.

Yakovlievich says:

Epic hair flinging contest at 7:40.

james woody says:

This is great footage! Somebody really took their time and edited it
properly. Its not all Jimmy. JPJ gives this song a total workout on bass
guitar.

Yo BroMan says:

Whenever I listen to any live Zep, especially this song…I’m constantly
reminded what a machine Bonham was. His feel, the tempo and meter, it’s
really unbelievable.

Yo!

Camila Andrea Escobar says:

Holy FUCK. Bonzo. No words.

IronOrePickaxe says:

Oh what I would do to be there. But I’m only 17, so I never saw Zeppelin
back in the day.

My life feels incomplete.

Chris Winther says:

Jones and Bonham on point the whole damn time. The 1977 tour had its high
points like the Forum and MSG shows. Achilles is a perfect example of how
airtight this band was, its fucking amazing.

Apollo Alexandre says:

TOO FUCKING GOOD!!!

Rob Allen says:

Saw this tour in Chicago three nights out of four page got sick the fourth
night. I was 13 or 14 and I thought I had scene God the three hits of
orange sunshine may have contributed to that part. I was a ticket scalper
in High school so I had the best tickets to every show and went to every
show I saw lots of great concerts but Zep. was my all time fav.I’m 52 now
and still to this day I haven’t seen a better concert April 8th -through
the 11th 1977 three weeks before my 14th bday.

William Freire says:

This song feels like I’m riding a horse and fleeing from an army of church
inquisitors.

Fine-Business Operator says:

gawd dam – BONZO!

Mornepin says:

Wow it’s faster than the original… And yet it lasts 10 min as well…

frankyulloa21 says:

one of the best performance of zeppelin. this song sounds like gods with
wings got together and played beautiful music.

professorpsoop says:

Saw them in 1977…incredible experience (Madison Square Garden). Has there
ever been anything more awesome to watch than Jimmy Page? (that’s a
rhetorical question)

Jason T. says:

These guys were the BADDEST MOTHERFUCKERS to ever walk onto a stage. I hope
that 200 years from now, people will still be studying this. I hope it
never dies. It deserves to live on in the Pantheon of human endeavor.
Sooooo awesome!

Yo BroMan says:

This kind of spectacle no longer exists in the music industry. Like Gods
roaming the stage, only seen in magazines.

If you weren’t around to see this type of show from the 70s and 80s, then
you missed out. Fortunately, there is video of this era, but it will never
do justice to what it would have been like to actually have been there to
see it live.

Yo!

James Klein says:

I was at that 1977 LA show. Same night Keith Moon came out and played Moby
Dick. Awesome.

Mike Ze says:

As always, Bonzo is a furious animal!

POPEYEUGUY 68 says:

one of the hardest guitar riffs to play by a single guitarest

seal dbslqjtm says:

They are Led Zeppelin. Absolutely best band of all time!!

Searching2112 Geostationary says:

My god John Bonham is a beast on this song!

Robin Abbaschild says:

Jimmy is like a gazelle prancing to the beat of a different drum! YOu GO
Jimmy! Every other band can go blow!!

Susanne Williamsson says:

This is LED ZEPPELIN, in their very best. Performing a work of art, where
music is concerned! They were giants, megastars, glistening stars, the sun
and the moon! For me, they were more than I ever can say…

Christopher W says:

Jones and Bonham had the ill-fortune of being overshadowed by front men
with two of the most enormous egos in rock. Together they are a rhythm
section beyond compare. This song highlights that. Plant had some success
beyond that rhythm section with great hand-picked studio guys. Page had
very little without them. Jones and Bonham were as important to Led Zep as
Plant and Page were, make no mistake.

Tracey Mullen says:

I friggin love this song

Tina Prasetyo says:

Bonzo’s drum and Jimmy’s guitar. Whoooaah…

Ron Mishra says:

50 people are jealous of the people who went to this show!

Anthony Cocklobster says:

this makes you realise that bands like Guns n Roses are still at school
practising

CooManTunes says:

0:00-9:58 like it was NOTHING. <> HAMMER OF THE GODS <>

Neil Boothe says:

*We’ve suffered enough; it’s the to find the truth and divine life and be
fulfilled. All we got to do is take control of our minds to do it. The age
of the mind is ending now.*
*Take a look at **”The Present”‘ at *TruthContest•com** to know it all.*

Ziggyzag Zi says:

Jimmy had to deal w/ 3 or 4 guitar parts on the album…Live Mastermind

luv basses says:

Very true Jimi. When John died, he took Zeppelin with him…

the artist says:

I was there, absolutely amazing!!!
So glad I saw them, some of my friends said they would catch them next time
they came to LA, which beyond sadly never happened, RIP The Mighty Bonzo!!!

Steve M. says:

Jimmy Page – Greatest of All Time – nothing more needs to be said.

MrMegaFredZeppelin says:

IN CONCERT AND BEYOND “LED-ZEPPELIN”!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!

mark cheek says:

this album was recorded in Germany.awesome syncopation throughout the whole
album. Very tight. The Stones went into the same studio after Zep to record
more junkie egotistical crap in comparision.

AW11KONA says:

did everyone say “best band ever”? indeed!

John Ackerman says:

This was a great performance. Leave at that.

blynnfree says:

THE VIKINGS OF ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!

John Blair says:

Led Zep Madison Square Garden 1977 June 7,8 10, 11 and 14 – We fucked up
and didn’t get tickets for the 13th. It was Mail-In and we drove into Grand
Central Post Office New York with our Ticket Requests and Money Orders. We
ended up with more tickets for the 14th and none for the 13th. Still 5 of
the best shows of my young life. John had just gotten his Stainless Steel
set for this tour. In 1975 I saw them 2x at Nassau Coliseum. Would have
been 8 as I had Tickets in 1975 in Oakland California when Plant was in car
accident in Greece and all shows were canceled. We got our money back for
the tickets. at $14.50 of it, LOL. Should have kept them as souvenirs.
Zeppelin was a big part of my youth. They are forever part of my soul RIP
John.

Guss Manning says:

How about John Bonham on those drums huh?

Dario Scotti says:

The best band ever.
Rock on!

Madam Blue says:

I sold tickets for this concert and sat on the second row center section.
Whomever uploaded this has the date as June of l977. It was MAY 15! Also,
just to let you know as you might check out other Houston ’77 Zeppelin
videos, you may notice different clothing and a lot of comments that do NOT
reflect the reality of the show at all. Except for the wrong date, this one
is actual. It was indeed the greatest concert I have ever seen and don’t
believe Led Zep will ever be surpassed.

brad gilker says:

Best drum lick EVER!

Dylan A. Kent says:

Plant was a God.

Chad Brandenburg says:

It looks like this video is mixed from L.A. and Seattle…
