Note: I just specially enhanced the lyrics for a little more precision for
singers in mind like me! Lol, enjoy.
Seriously underrated Zep classic. I was never as moved by Stairway as
everyone else seemed to be. It’s songs like this one that really smoked it
for me.
After a month of rehearsals, the album was recorded in just eighteen
days[5] at Musicland Studios in Munich, West Germany, with Plant in a
wheelchair. This was the fastest recording turnaround time achieved by the
band since their debut album.[3] The rushed recording sessions were in part
a result of Led Zeppelin having booked the studio immediately prior to The
Rolling Stones, who were shortly to record songs for their album Black and
Blue. Upon their arrival, the Stones were amazed that Zeppelin’s album had
indeed been completed (both recorded and mixed) in a mere eighteen days.
Page had simply stayed awake for two days straight to perform all of the
guitar overdubs.
I love For Your Life, I love the entire Presence album. When Led Zeppelin
recorded the Presence album, they were ensconced in utter chaos…..Plant
was recovering from a car-accident which almost killed him and he sung the
complete vocals whilst seated in a wheel-chair, Page was massively into
heroin, Bonham was massively into the drink….John Paul Jones was the glue
that held Led Zeppelin together. Do not ever forget that.

First time listening to song. Holy shit. I think I like Zeppelin even more
now

I Like the Heads moving. Funny.
killer groove
Tremendous drums. Such a cool song with endless groove

Their best song? Right now I think so….
STILL the best band in history! Pure genius, simply unmatched.
Definitely one badass song.
The bass line in this song is so freakin cool. Jones did not get enough
credit.
Eargasm kicking in in some parts of the song!
seeing them do this on the reunion dvd was great(the show in London). first
time live, so said plant. sounded really fresh.
I thought I was getting old when I bought this album and now 40 years
later……..well I’m not 18 any more…….and I still have this album in
my stash.
Multi layered killer grooves..Just plain nasty kick ass by the mighty ZEP.
cool as fuck.,
Lester Jones III
Presence introduced me to the Led Zeppelin world. Very especial album for
me.
What really gets me in this song is Bonzo’s bass drum thump on 2:36. so
cool!
Great song and underrated album. Love the video too.
I listen to this more than any other Zep song these days. love everything
about it.
One of their finest, the kick-ass attitude behind that killer beat and riff
is the work of genius.
John Bonham is thrashing the living daylights out of them drums.
A classic Plant discourse on drugs and groupies! Genius!
John fuckin Bonham on the skins
A real tight and nasty killer of a solo by Page. One of the last from him
in my opinion.
love the dancing heads
Cool stuff. This is one of my favorite Zep songs. The bobble heads r funny.

“You said I was the only…” Your so fool, baby 😉
Another bad ass song on this album is tea for one.
Pagey…just fucking sick guitar parts. That main riff…
one of the most underrated page solos ever
5:30 that snarl
the brunette holding the sign is as hot as a Jimmy page solo…..
Very underrated tune and album. Always liked it. God/Jesus bless and save
whomever reads this. They have good taste in music.
Brutal. Saw them in 73, thought they were good then. This tune stands up
2day. Forgot how good this album was…
This has to be the best song to get down to.
Bonzo backbeat that starts @ 2:30 is pure fkn genius
It took me so long to properly get into Presence.
The reward is great.
This is true. I like your insight on The glue that held them together. Best
band ever.
One of the most ‘gutter’ songs they ever did, and of course, spot on!
heavy
It is Led Zeppelin (:-0
Good visuals added to the song… . (Presence. Released the 31st of March,
1976).
Jeez Bonzo’s kick drum! Orgasmic…
Fuck how cool is this track?
FroYo life
The mighty–BONZO
songs like this taught me the true meaning of groove and funk
oohhh baby
