Lesson Taught by: Carl Brown
Great job it helped so much thanks !!!!
What kind of electro guitar is that? I wanna buy it!
So does anyone have a tip on how to get that chorus bend on the g to sound
like this? I’m playing on an acoustic and I just cannot get that sound at
the 4 2 4 riff on the g.
very clear and well paced – THANKS! I cannot help noticing that your middle
and ring fingers are longer than my entire arm ….
Well, finally I could play the main riff… You are a great teacher…
Thanks a lot…!!!
aww man my fingers are still too soft to get enough on the bends :/
Actually i think that the way the rhythm works is jimmy page goes back and
plays it then adds it to the song, unless john paul jones plays it, and i
think he doesnt play guitar.
Great lesson, dude! You do a great job of explaining without getting hung
up in unrelated detail. Right on target! Thank you for posting!
please post the tab or the link
I play tihis with acoustic guitar
Hi how is your amp set up
Dude i love your Chanel
cool : )
You sure.. teacher.. you deserve a cookie… i love you…
good bro!
Page ain’t screw nothing, Page only Improvises.. 😉
great lesson carl thanks do some more classic rock stuff
Very good…thanks!
Excellent
Tried learning it through tab. Was hard. This video made it much easier to
grasp. Good job. I will be watching your tutorials alot more.
I’ve been playing for over 25 years, and this song is certainly not too
hard for me. But I prefer to learn it w/a quick lesson rather than spend
hours figuring it out note for note, even though that is a good
ear-training exercise. The time spent learning someone else’s song, unless
you have a great ear, can take up the same time you could use to write an
original. Orchestra’s have highly trained musicians, but they still have
sheet music to follow.
Give me a tab
Nothing. He just listens to quite great music. What got me angry, was his
response to Carl’s video – “Give me a tab”. What does he think? I mean,
it’s kinda disrespectful. Carl’s is no servant.
Amazing lesson! Thanks alot man
Great Lesson and cool shirt !!
Yay
Ok,what so special in his music taste? just random guy who listen to led
zepplien. and i didnt saw that you did response this guy.sorry.
Great Lesson thank you very much, I don’t read tab, or should i say I
choose not to, I can actually play this song now in about an hours worth of
work because of you! Excellent!
It’s just awsome when you play guitar a time. You are able to get those
epic riffs in 5-10 minutes.
Really? What concerts, for instance? (not trolling, just curious)
Your lessons are some of the best (among a very select few) available, and
I love how you teach the entire song, in standard tuning most of the time,
along w/ close-up shots of both hands. So many (I won’t mention names, but
they know who they are) just teach the main riff, & then spend time showing
(wanking) off, or talking. When I C a Hendrix or LZ lesson that’s 3 mins
long, I know that there’s no way that even 1/2 the song is covered. Thanks
so much for real, complete lessons!
Well I mean who can blame him, then he comes back and goes even harder on
the next part or song.
On the harmonized part, shouldn’t that bent note on the B string be shifted
up from the 4th fret to the 5th fret in order to account for the 3rd
interval between G & B strings? I guess since I’m the only guitarist, that
I wouldn’t even play that part, but I’m really curious about this.
What so bad in Carl? He is a great man.
Yes i know the riff thank you so much
No it’s not too hard for people! I can play songs really good if I learn
them, just can’t learn them on my own. If everybody thought the same as
you, the whole planet would be completely retarded..
If you are talking to me, then I meant this comment to Ryan Shenouda, the
guy I responded to. Carl is a great man for sure 🙂
Great lesson as allways, thanks 😀 I played this many years ago, from my
“ear” and I played it one note different from you, but this sounds more
correct. /Ken
that’s quite a finger work out. No wonder Page screwed it up in concert
sometimes.
be sure most of the players around carl has a great taste music, but yes,it
ugly to talk to other person like that, its also makes me angry.
That is the most retarded thing I’ve ever heard, ok everybody only learn
easy thing’s don’t challenge yourself ever it’s not worth it!
What I meant was if you need someone to show you how to pluck out a song
note by note, its probably too hard for you to learn at this point, I’m not
saying you shouldn’t challenge yourself but rather you’re not quite there
yet and should learn something more basic
Looking at your profile, you got great music taste. But your behavior:( Why?
