Where does inspiration come from? I mean if you look throughout history you
can literally see it bouncing around. From music to philosophy to art, to
religion, to science and other inspired events even like wars. Im not
saying they are good but people were inspired to help their country and
what not producing things like the A-bomb. I got a little read you guys
have to check out, Google Truth contest and check out the top entry. IT
will blow your mind.
My brother was telling me that Led Zeppelin stole A LOT of the songs from
older blues musicians, he used to like Led Zep but now hates them and call
them rip off hacks.

Hahaha in music everyone steals from everyone. It’s no secret. If you know
anything about music the most overused chord progression is D to A to G.
Not in that order because you can switch them around but they are the same
chords. Then it’s not stealing rather it’s being influenced by them. You
can’t steal bunch of licks and riffs just get influenced. Even the Doors
said they “steal” from people (the drummer said it forgot his name) either
ways, if you listen closely they have tons of Latin influence in their
drumming. So it’s not stealing rather being influence by what you like and
using it to create your own and life to the music
THE BEATLES FOR EVER.ARGENTINA LOVE YOU…THANKS JOHN ,PAUL,RINGO AND
GEORGE THANKS AGAIN..THEY WERE THE FIRST.GOD THANK FOR THE BEATLES ON MY
MIND AND MY HEART THEIR MUSIC
I reccomend silent meditation during the first few minutes here. use the
silent time to look deep within yourself and contemplate what an awesome
song black dog truly is… or skip to 4:57 for some rock and roll. your
choice.
All music is “stolen” from earlier roots…Now that we all know that, Led
Zeppelin ROCKS! What powerful, amazing musicians. Led Zep are the GODS OF
ROCK N ROLL, period.
They didn’t “Steal” the songs they just re-did them in a Rock and Roll
style like a lot of bands did …Stones, “Little Red Rooster” Elvis, “Hound
Dog” Clapton, “I Shot the Sheriff ” and on -N-on it goes…..
When I was in high school, John Bonham was doing an interview on the local
underground radio station, and everyone who called in and had a question
chosen was supposed to get a free record. I asked about the influence
people like Muddy Waters had on Led Zeppelin, and John went apeshit,
yelling about how Led Zeppelin’s stuff was totally original, and such. What
a prick. Needless to say, I didn’t get the record.
Nowadays stealing and plagiarism is called “samples”. No one hates it, eh?
Think about that, before you blame LedZ… I think they did a great job
revisiting some earlier pearls of music 🙂

i have a question. I just found this album at bestbuy today. i was looking
at it very closely. Doent that man on the cover who is collecting the
sticks resemble Bilbo Baggins from the book the Hobbit? i was just
wondering. The drawing on the cover reminds me a lot like Bilbo form the
book. Am i wrong or right?

So apparently Black Dog and When the Levee Breaks don’t exist.

UPDATE:
9 minutes-15 seconds into album, It Works. (go figure).
What’s with the huge delay at the beginning of this album.
Remember listening to this album with T. Kriske at his house. Was his 17 yr
old sisters, , Jan’s, album..but we’d play it more than she would!
(1973)
If I NEVER hear Stairway again in my life, I’d be happy with that! Great
album, but Stairway is THE MOST OVERPLAYED SONG. E-V-E-R!!!

can anyone tell me where is black dog? ahahahahah XD
What happen? Can’t hear anything. Volumes all the way up worked ok with the
last album.
Seems like the led doesn’t like people listening for free. Also seems like
they didn’t have a problem borrowing from older musicians, for free.
okay, nighty night. Thank you for the lullaby…. & the sweet dreams, also.
(Yummy dreams)
Okay so Black Dog just doesn’t play? Good job bro.
THE BEATLES FOR EVER TODAY AND ALWAYS
They didn’t “Steal” the songs they just re-did them in a Rock and Roll

song…. you guys are too funny. Its about performance
When the time finally comes that “people” question the worth of Led
Zepplin, I’ll be satisfied to just fucking move on to the next level.
