Damien Alexander says:

Led Zeppelin was the soundtrack to some of the best decades known to
mankind. I cannot image a world without their beautiful music. If it wasn’t
for them, we would of been left with all the other top 40 bullshit of the
time like Captain and Tennille.

Imthedude Man says:

John paul jones looks fuckin awsome! He must have taken care of himself

MrFluidity1 says:

Anyone notice the look Plant gives the audience (?) at 11:21, when
Letterman is kissing Page’s ass, trying to make them believe he loves the
rendition of Stairway too. Sums up the interview… “load of bollocks” he’s
probably thinking haha

Wisup says:

Still as badass. Man, I love Led Zepplin!

Tj Landry says:

John Paul has always been criminally underrated in that band and as a
musician in general. Watch him in the Celebration Day film and see his
contributions.

Scott Waszak says:

JPJ has a natural comic timing. Damn funny.

Soumyadeep Basu says:

How fitting that Page looks exactly like Beethoven.

Totes McGotes says:

man these guys are so legendary. so cool to see em together like this. born
in 93 but i look at these guys as the grandfathers of all good music. just
wish this interview was done on fallon, he woulda done a much better job!

Samson Saunders says:

Jimmy Page legendary guitarist. He somehow reminds me of Mr. Miyagi haha

john doe says:

Robert Plant mentioned Canned Heat!

…..one of the most UNDERRATED bands of all time.

amsedelm says:

John Paul Jones is hysterical! lol

mandingo9999998 says:

Both Zep and Letterman were honored at the Kennedy Center Awards in DC the
night before this interview. They sat next to each other in the balcony
next to the President.

Both clips are on the tube in full. A good primer to watch the interview.

BluZ Grl says:

The Presidents of R & R !! Can’t you just see their faces carved out the
side of a Mountain top ???

Sassy Dana Zeller says:

I only checked like because of the Three Legends sitting with Asshole Dave
Letterman. Excuse me for saying that, but I can’t stand him. My opinion
only, just saying :)

LudwigSC93 says:

JPJ looks at least 10 years younger than Page and Plant. And not because of
his hair color

Pamala Brock says:

Dave you are something else! As well as Led Zeppelin. Have a great life
Pamala Petty . aka: Pamala Axil Rose. Xo xo xo

MCF Matt says:

I like Zeppelin, wouldn’t consider myself a real fan, but I like em.

That said, Jon (That’s his name?) is hilarious. Reminds me of my uncle.
Really, he reminds me of everyone’s uncle.

mykylc says:

13:18 Jimmy’s reaction. LOL!!!!

roman14032 says:

beck page, blackmore, albert lee jim sullivan and clapton grew up within a
few miles of each other
WTF?

tluedeke reactor7 says:

(without a shred of sympathy for one of the best drummers of all time)
“…then ‘the drummer dies .. sadly … tragically”.

Really, Dave. You can’t possibly have your staff spend approximately 0.134
seconds figuring out his name??

Screw you Dave, you useless waste of air time….

John Jack Doe says:

now Robert Plant looks like a man.

Bruno Moreira Lima says:

Ten thumbs up!

EmpressOfWyoming58 says:

I noticed this with Mick Jagger on SNL, in recent times and with these guys
here, when rockers get old, their feet look so much bigger.

Crazy Horse says:

I don’t understand the part about the matinee.

Momonoski says:

Great interview but come on David Letterman you don’t refer to “John
Bonham” Led Zeppelins drummer as the drummer who died! John Bonham is one
of the GREATEST drummers of all time! John deserves the REPECT of referring
to him by his full name, “John Bonham”

Jess Cooney says:

Letterman is a coke sniffing wanka

linden frank says:

John Paul Jones is a hoot…what a breath of fresh air…didn’t know he was
that funny

XCulture99 says:

I expected robert’s voice to be a little deeper

enzyme12345 says:

How can these guys get any cooler? They are so freakin’ funny, witty and
self deprecating. Awesome!

TheRealMc101 says:

John Paul Jones aka Walter White.

Israel Rico says:

Paul staffer suck saves dick

ogrebattle22763 says:

Letterman is such a dick….. I imagine it took all they could to get
themselves to go out & be interviewed by this schmuck…

SirGamesAlot says:

Jimmy page Looks like a cross between George Takei and George washington

Ryan Grant says:

I Can not help but smile when I see these guys together.

Robert Metcalf says:

perhaps the best band ever

psychkoala says:

Dave is a bit of a doofus at times. Otherwise it’s a good interview.

AmericanIsraeliJew says:

I once poked my first sexual intercourse girlfriend listening to whole lot
of love.

from right to left: Marijuana, cocaine and lsd, please enjoy the show!

lucas31oct says:

5:35 EPIC ANSWER hahahahahaha

Jay Corbin says:

“Sonny Boy Williams”

minfo2000 says:

After losing his phone number during the page and plant tour, it was a
nice gesture to put J.P. Jones at the seat closest to letterman, (that
fucking square asshole from Indiana) too LITTLE , too late as far as I’M
CONCERNED.. STILL LOVE EARLY ZE.P THOUGH. CM

Xcrazysouthpaw says:

LOL Ha Robert and Jimmy put Jonesy in the hotseat!!

smscamp says:

It was such a pleasure to hear John Paul Jones take no ignorant, arrogant
idiocy from Letterman. Same with Plant and Page, but to a lesser extent.

This is the same guy, when Johnny Winter was on his show, mentioned about
going on some drug fueled tour, totally ignorant that Winter was a former
drug addict and almost died from it in the early 1970’s, and had to check
in and do some painful withdrawl to break free

Theatrerhcpbeatlemaniac says:

Robert Plant has the cutest accent ever :D

MegaVector2011 says:

Music is a universal language, where someone comes from doesn’t matter. I
think it’s wrong to categorise music by which country you come from.
Letterman is perpetuating this, he’s a wanker and a total dinosaur..

Paul Manning says:

I am Brit Zep nut. Not sure about this interview it seems really wrong on
quite a few different levels to be honest.
i’ll prefer to remember the good days of Zep and forget I ever saw it….

Connor Stringfield says:

Jimmy page>all guitarists in the world

jesser1231 says:

Jonesy basically made the interview he’s fuckin hilarious

Northboy70 says:

What is it with these great musicians and Obama? Fuck that. Come on, how
many Zep songs has that asshole ever even listened to anyhow? What
happened, guys? Come on!
