Led Zeppelin was the soundtrack to some of the best decades known to
mankind. I cannot image a world without their beautiful music. If it wasn’t
for them, we would of been left with all the other top 40 bullshit of the
time like Captain and Tennille.
John paul jones looks fuckin awsome! He must have taken care of himself
Anyone notice the look Plant gives the audience (?) at 11:21, when
Letterman is kissing Page’s ass, trying to make them believe he loves the
rendition of Stairway too. Sums up the interview… “load of bollocks” he’s
probably thinking haha

John Paul has always been criminally underrated in that band and as a
musician in general. Watch him in the Celebration Day film and see his
contributions.
JPJ has a natural comic timing. Damn funny.
How fitting that Page looks exactly like Beethoven.
man these guys are so legendary. so cool to see em together like this. born
in 93 but i look at these guys as the grandfathers of all good music. just
wish this interview was done on fallon, he woulda done a much better job!

night before this interview. They sat next to each other in the balcony
next to the President.
Both clips are on the tube in full. A good primer to watch the interview.
The Presidents of R & R !! Can’t you just see their faces carved out the

I only checked like because of the Three Legends sitting with Asshole Dave
Letterman. Excuse me for saying that, but I can’t stand him. My opinion

Great interview but come on David Letterman you don’t refer to “John
Bonham” Led Zeppelins drummer as the drummer who died! John Bonham is one
of the GREATEST drummers of all time! John deserves the REPECT of referring
to him by his full name, “John Bonham”

It was such a pleasure to hear John Paul Jones take no ignorant, arrogant
idiocy from Letterman. Same with Plant and Page, but to a lesser extent.
This is the same guy, when Johnny Winter was on his show, mentioned about
going on some drug fueled tour, totally ignorant that Winter was a former
drug addict and almost died from it in the early 1970’s, and had to check
in and do some painful withdrawl to break free

Music is a universal language, where someone comes from doesn’t matter. I
think it’s wrong to categorise music by which country you come from.
Letterman is perpetuating this, he’s a wanker and a total dinosaur..
I am Brit Zep nut. Not sure about this interview it seems really wrong on
quite a few different levels to be honest.
i’ll prefer to remember the good days of Zep and forget I ever saw it….
