David Morris says:

Just DAMN! Looking forward to seeing them live in March, fantastic!

Tyler Buckner says:

And to think…Zep made all that noise with just 4 guys.

Edward Hester says:

this dudes are amazing.. holy shit

TesoroSoundStudio says:

I did indeed have the good fortune to see Led Zeppelin live (1975 tour
February 6th in Montreal) and it was without a doubt the best show I’ve
ever experienced. And at the time we all wanted Zep to get as close to
their studio sound as possible (ex: Pagey’s solo and Plant’s climax in
‘Stairway’). So I think that Get The Led Out has the correct approach–to
deliver the studio sound in a live setting. Too many other bands go the
other route and try to provide the visuals too (ex: tribute bands) but they
leave me wanting more. GTLO fills that need to hear Zep in a sonic delivery
that truly satisfies.

Cristy Rawks says:

Zeperella makes you feel like you are really watching and hearing Led Zep.
If you are a true “tribute” band, you act AND look like them NOT just sound
like them…. just sayin…

Em Gee says:

They started the show off with “In the Evening” and I was just coming up
the stairs thinking that it was the original recording(that the concert had
not started). I got chills walking into the room. And the chills and
thrills just kept coming. It is a moving experience and if you close your
eyes you ARE at a LZ show. I have no doubt that Plant, Page & Bonham would
bow in respect before them. I do. Great Job Guys.

BassDude50000 says:

They aren’t impersonators, they simply replicate the music.

thesqlspot says:

I saw Zeppelin in 77. These guys do Zeppelin almost as good as Zeppelin
did. I’ve seen tons of tribute bands, no other band comes close. I was
truly blown away by the lead singer’s voice and by the musical skills of
the band members. It was their first time in Atlanta and hopefully they
will make this a permanent stop. I’ll be there every time. Most of these
post are kids they don’t know Zeppelin. If you grew up with Zeppelin,
you’ll be amazed. I promise.

rushnut1958 says:

Seeing these guys next weekend in Salina, Kansas. And yes, that is indeed
the middle of nowhere. Not the end of the world, but you can see it from
there.

TWern9 says:

@klapchek I was there also. While it’s a cool thing to see them cover about
2 and a half hours of studio Zeppelin, it’s not something I’m leaning
towards putting moeny forth to see again. As an avid listener, there are
several things that aren’t spot on based on what I saw. A few slow songs
seemed rush in tempo, while a few fast ones seemed slow. The singer has
quite a strong chest voice, but because he lacks head voice, his chest
voice wails are often differently toned then Plant’s head voice.

Curtis Linder says:

I have seen a few LZ cover/tribute bands – but these guys are the Real Deal
– caught them in Ft. Liquordale a couple of years ago…

GTLOROCKS says:

Get The Led Out “The American Led Zeppelin” selected to perform at Zep Fest
2011 – Memorial Day Weekend at National Harbor in Washington DC. 50 plus
bands on 5 stages including the top Led Zeppelin tribute bands in the world
today, Vanilla Fudge, The Yardbirds, + special guest speakers who were
there when it all happened…..

SIXSTRING63 says:

Agreed. Most of the live stuff from the early to mid 70’s was outstanding.
Later in the decade they seemed burned out or something. That’s why I just
love GTLO cause they bring the tunes studio perfect with a live vibe. I
grew up with Zep and learned a lot of their tunes in the 70’s and they
still kick my ass now as they did then.

sparklemom012345 says:

Seeing GTLO this Friday for the second Charlotte visit. The couple of
negative comments posted are clueless. Buy a ticket and go see the show.
These guys are beyond compare. Thanks GTLO for giving us long time Zeppelin
fans an awesome time!!!

SIXSTRING63 says:

@cnote05 Well , I’ll tell you what ! I’ve seen these guys and I appreciate
the fact they have all the guys to cover the tunes just like the studio
albums instead of going for the live look and sounding piss poor. Hell
,even Zep were just o.k. at most live shows and sounded nothing like the
studio recordings. These guys have guitar ,mandolin and banjo when the
cover songs like gallows pole and it is spot on. No they don’t have the
traditional look but they do have the sound.

SunInSeptember says:

I saw Get The Led Out for the first time the other night and thought they
were phenomenal. Their sound is dead on Led Zeppelin. The way they played
Kashmir, No Quarter and Stairway to Heaven was breathtaking. Absolutely
loved it. Being there and seeing them live, I could tell they’re passionate
about the music. That means a lot. Would love to see them again.

Randall Brooks says:

Watching this preview is the best way to spend 10 minutes I can think of!
These guys are GREAT!!

jazzbojim1 says:

Fuck yeah

GTLOROCKS says:

@rushnut1958 Cool – hope you have a great time – This is a very old video
that was pulled from circulation but left up by a promoter – the bands
website at gtlorocks “daht” com has the latest HD promo video which was
banned by u-tube for sounding to close to the original recordings. Check it
out!

TWern9 says:

@SIXSTRING63 Led Zeppelin, “o.k. at most live shows” ? Who says you have to
mimmick what you do in the studio on tour? Improv, different tones,
different drum breaks, etc. is what adds to the legacy of the band. For
instance, take Dazed and Confused, multiply it by several well-preserved
performances of it, and you have many more minutes of differing excursions
of the piece. Take as many live versions of a song from most other bands
and well, you pretty much have the same thing every time.

MountianRiders says:

They sound just like the real thing! Led Zeppelin was one of the best band
for rock and roll! Go see them before you put them down. Most of the music
played is way beyond the skill of most bands today!

Tim Osmond says:

Whenever I bring up a band like this, I NEVER watch the video, I plug in my
head phones and close my eyes to hear the band. I gotta say, they are GOOD.
Reminds of “The Song Remains the Same” live performances from the movie. I
would pay to see these guys.

TWern9 says:

@moucon I should’ve seen them in their heyday… because IT WOULD’VE BEEN
ONE OF THE GREATEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE. “They gave 0 priority in playing
the same way twice”- That’s what continuously added to their live legacy!
That’s what makes each version of each song unique! It’s WONDERFUL that
they are one of the few bands that ever did such a thing!

Frank Kinetic says:

These guys transcend the whole idea of “a cover band”. Every note and every
nuance of every song is perfection. To date, I have seen them 6 times, with
my 7th rapidly approaching on November 17th at Penns Peak. It is no wonder
that they have a loyal and dedicated following. If you’ve seen them you
know what I’m talking about, if you haven’t seen them, do yourself a big
favor, and get to a show.

MountianRiders says:

You cant play this stuff on a instrument and if you could your
impersonating led Zeppelin too!

MountianRiders says:

Haha yeah it kinda sounded like you were saying that live zepp never really
sounds good. I just think there are many many more better live then the bad
live shows.

MountianRiders says:

Zepp never sounded bad though. I actually like the live version of songs
because they tried even harder and dont make it sound like the same thing
every time.

691shawn says:

not bad

Em Gee says:

Just saw this band last night in NYC. I dont know what to say other than I
am still picking up the pieces of mind…..On a scale of 1- 10 they are a
100. These guys are not doing impersonations or trying to LOOK like
anything. But they all LOVE Zeppelin and are wildly talented. Everything
sound, from the Page trills, to the haunting mind blowing, transporting
Plant vocals abound throughout the evening.

guitarzz24 says:

such a great show

MountianRiders says:

Yeah but led zepp never just sounded ok. They sound great 24/7

TWern9 says:

@moucon I did see them, if you had paid more attention to what I said in
the other comment you cracked down on instead of satisfying your ego then
maybe you wouldn’t’ve been off on your assumptions again. I haven’t argued
the respect they have for Zeppelin or any of that, I’ve just asserted that
no tribute band compares to the musicianship that Zeppelin had, or else
they wouldn’t partially be living off Zeppelin’s success and would instead
be doing something new and original of such calibur.

Peter Lynch says:

We saw these guys in Ridgefield CT – if you like the Led Zeppelin (LZ) you
WILL, without question, love this show. They are NOT a cover band they are
an extremely talented group of musicians and an incredibly “tight” band
with a brilliant lead singer who grew up loving Led Zeppelin music and it
shows clearly – they do not play LZ – they love LZ music and it comes
through to the audience loud and clear with overpowering intensity.

u311224 says:

Vocals ??? Im impressed with every thing but nat as much on the
vocals…sorry just my ears.

cnote05 says:

@Patriotpride16t Just not feeling it bro…… TOO POLISHED! there is no
raw energy or improv. That was the beauty of Led Zeppelin the power the raw
energy……. I don’t want to hear a band that sounds and looks like
Whitesnake doing a bunch of LZ songs Thanks CIAO

TWern9 says:

@ccvbguitar A less than fair night from Zeppelin in rusty old bootleg form,
to me, still pleases my ears more than any cover band or artist today, as
the trumping musicianship was always a constant til’ Bonzo’s death did them
part.

FrancisPennySac says:

Saw them play live in tiny Williamsport PA…. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. fucking
amazing.. period. rocking the whole time… keep in mind they play how it
sounded on the album. most tribute bands do not… They do it to a t.
Watching them perform “Battle of evermore” was amazing.. then seeing them
play “No quarter” was again amazing. Do you love led zeppelins albums??
then they are worth a viewing. I saw them in 2008 for all of 40 bux.. best
40bux i ever spent. seriously

rushnut1958 says:

Made the Salina show. These kids are outstanding! I was so impressed that I
actually hung out a few minutes after the show to tell them all what a
great job they did. I walked away even more impressed. What a great bunch
of very talented and humble kids! I’ve seen tons of great bands in my
nearly 60 years, but rarely have I had more fun. These guys LOVE what they
are doing and really appreciate the people that come to see them. If you
get a chance, I highly suggest them.

Mark Klein says:

THANK YOU ! I went last night in Wallingford CT. I have over 70% of ALL Led
Zeppelin concert bootlegs . THESE guys were mind blowing awesome. and meet
and greet afterwards . My son bought a t-shirt and got a photo signed. i
used my mobile phone battery and got the whole first 1/2 of the show. I’d
love togo to boston but ill be on vacation that sunday morning .

SIXSTRING63 says:

@cnote05 Not my band DUDE ! just know good player when I hear them. I know
they are not Zep nor will any band ever be but they are very very good live.

TWern9 says:

@moucon “People want bands to cover their recordings exactly”- You’re a
very naive and closed-minded listener if you’re a person who goes to see a
band do everything exactly the way recordings are. If that’s the way people
want their bands’ shows then those bands may as well pretend to play to the
recorded versions. Zeppelin ADDED more value to their concerts by being
unpredictably great and flexing their amazing musicianship, and then some.
That beats getting to “sing along” to real music ears.

JamminJoe317 says:

I saw them they were fucken awesome!!!!!!!!!

patriotpride16t says:

@theothertroll Apparently, you’ve never actually seen them play, therefore
your opinion is worth less than a pile of feces!

MountianRiders says:

But they never sound piss poor. EVER!

Frank N.Hammer says:

@cnote05 -You’re out of your mind. These guys are way better than No
Quarter. On musicianship & vocals especially.I suggest you GET THE HEAD
OUT……of your arse!! It’s all well and good to have your favorites, but
sooner or later reality has to set in.Good luck with that.

AFNYOAQIS says:

I like the fact that they don’t really try to look like Led Zeppelin but
they focus more on the sound. I’m to big a fan on all the Beatles wanna-be
bands etc.

ccvbguitar says:

@TWern9 I agree. Rock on

SIXSTRING63 says:

I agree they were great and are my favorite band of all time but I’ve heard
some live cuts where Plant could not sing and Page was off his game pretty
bad. Whether it was substance induced or whatever they were not always that
good live especially at the end of the 70’s. All I was trying to say is
that GTLO has all the guys to cover Zep just like the studio recordings.
You seem to find a new debate from my post every other week. It’s all good,
you know what they say about opinions !

klapchek says:

Saw them last night. They come right out and say their gig is not to
impersonate Led Zeppelin but to reproduce Zep songs like they sound on the
recordings we all know and most love. And they do a fantastic job of it…
spot on. The singer is great and the musicianship is excellent. If you like
Zep, go check them out and you will not be disappointed.

Jaqueline White says:

SOOOOOOO TRUE WELL SAID
