Scott Waszak says:

I would say that Jimmy was influenced by the Spirit tune. On other
occasions — Dazed and Confused, Moby Dick, Nobody’s Fault But Mine, etc,
he blatantly plagiarized. That being said, he’s still the greatest rock
songwriter ever, and it’s really not even close. One could take a tiny
sample of his tunes (Zeppelin tunes), such as The Rain Song, The Wonton
Song, Kashmir, and Achilles Last Stand, and just those four songs alone
virtually wipe the floor with any competition. Then, of course, we have Ten
Years Gone, Over The Hills and Far Away, Heartbreaker…

Mike Paoli says:

I almost exclusively listen to Classical and Jazz these days buy will
always appreciate Jimmy Page. I love the way Classical music paints a
picture through the use of many different instruments. Of ALL the GREAT
guitarist Jimmy was for me the ONLY rock musician who PAINTED a picture and
CREATED a scene through his music. The way he CREATED anticipation of
WHAT’S NEXT. The NEED to open that next door. An inspiration NOW and when I
was a teenager. THANKS Jimmy. AWESOME!

Glad I found you Jimmy. What a song. To bad it’s going to take you Hell.
Worth it?, That’s right it was not an accident. Our shadows could never be
taller than our God given souls ,what a lie. I MIGHT just be their you, you
led me astray.

Sam Wilson says:

This was a very moving interview and you can tell Page truly misses the Led
Zep days. Undeniably, a Led Zeppelin reform is probably one of the most
anticipated reforms in the history of music but what you have to bear in
mind is that Led Zeppelin was the past, especially for Plant, whose journey
is about moving forward and following the music rather than going back.

Jimmy page fails to mention how led zeppelin stole from black blues
artists. And in this case the riff from antler song. But white Americans
are dumb fucks. Most can’t find Iraq on a map. They’ll eat up any shit
served to them and call it creative genius lol

The mental retards do t realize just how much their so called great artists
robbed from black blues and jazz

Lol no one likes them. Seriously if you say you’re American in some

james woody says:

I would love to spend just one afternoon with Jimmy Page. Led Zeppelin
were, and still are such a big part of my life and listening experiences. I
was so lucky to see them on their 1977 tour. I was 16. It was the best
concert I’ve ever seen. That is a rather bold thing to say since I saw U2,
The Police and REM, respectively, on their very first tours of America. The
excitement of that night in April of 1977 has never left me. No opening
band(s). No announcements. At 8 pm, the lights simply went out in
Riverfront Coliseum, in Cincinnati and a spotlight followed Jimmy onstage
as he started dancing while playing the opening lines to “The Song Remains
the Same” and he and Robert were dancing on opposite sides of the stage,
simultaneously. JPJ and Bonham were suddenly there, ready at their
respective instruments (we never saw any of them walk on stage). They
weren’t there and suddenly, there they were!. Zeppelin played for just over
3 hours. I couldn’t get tickets for the 2nd night since both shows had sold
out and it killed me that I wasn’t over there, going through the whole
experience once again, on Wednesday night!!
