Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
Oh, oh.

Oh, I been flying… mama, there ain’t no denyin’
I’ve been flying, ain’t no denyin’, no denyin’

All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I’ve been.

Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high and true, when movin’ through Kashmir.

Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear
Ohh.

When I’m on, when I’m on my way, yeah
When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah

Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I’m down…
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I’m down, so down
Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there

Let me take you there. Let me take you there

I’m 96 years old, and I like this kind of music, unlike my other nursing
home comrades who listen to Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Katy Perry. I’m
better than them.

I’m a teenager who wants to feel special by listening to music from the

This is probably the most unoriginal comment section I’ve ever witnessed.
Like fr only 2 types of comments are being typed..

“Im 15 and I love this music. Today’s generation music sux and they need 2
listen 2 real music. u r retarded if u like modern music.” or the classic
autistic “I AM AN INFANT AN I HAVE LOVED THIS MUSIC SINCE 1842” or some
shit like that. Please get over yourselves.

Herp Derp says:

I recommend that all of the people talking about their young ages go watch
TVFilthyFrank’s “BORN IN THE WRONG GENERATION” video. It’ll be very
informative.

Seriously, nobody cares how old you are. You aren’t special for listening
to this.

Johnnie Angel says:

Time Bell my friends.
Off to dreamland

Ron Gary says:

I was born in 1994 and all I can say is my generation is full of morons who
idolize music that encourages violence and is very deragatory towards
women, but oh those guys have talent bullshit. Music is an art that’s
supposed to include instruments, underlying meanings in the lyrics talking
real fast to a studio created beat isn’t music it’s just exemplified
talking. People need to wake up and call for the rebirth of music from the
past not saying there’s no good bands today because theere are but overall
it blows

Brandon Reyes says:

They should play this on the radio rather than fucking playing songs that
people get money for just existing.

rickengothic says:

1970s never dies where music are real. Men wear short shorts and women/or
anyone never judge you if you wear them. Without internet, smartphone or
any those things. Keep it low and keep it real. #thankyounostalgic
#thankyounostalgia #thankyouledzeppelin

George Carlin says:

ha people say “good to see younger people liking this” no this is good
music and some people naturally have bad taste

Nick H says:

Love this song, so difficult to get down on perfectly on a cover…trying
hard lol but not going great. Zep is my favorite band of all time. Love all
their music!!

Liliana Smith says:

This is what we’re playing +Lauren Zoller +Divya Padamati +Emaan Syed +Maitri
Ajmera +Erin Perry +Victoria George +Natalie Knapp +Mia Reddy and yes, it
WAS necessary to tag you ALL

Sean Spring says:

Louisville Leopard Percussionist do an excellent cover of this, on
XYLOPHONES! A bunch of 7-12 year old kids too! Jimmy Page was even
impressed….

Samuel Blenke says:

Why do people say they were born in the wrong generation. You live in a
generation where you can listen to any music from any decade! Plus there’s
a lot of good bands, you’re just not looking hard enough.

angel ramon diaz says:

Its sounds awesome kashmir to me was there real athem if you like. Stairway
was great too but kashmir was definetly there hammer of the gods. The power
and unrelenting melody or riff with plants haunting voice and jbl brillant
bass give that song such a sense of force of nature just passing through
like a class 5+5 coming through. Yet they play it with such easy no
difficulty what so ever. But how brilliant is that pounding sound. There
isnt anything like that ever. God those guys are such gods or titians if
you will in music. Its hard too believe that there real WOW. KASHMIR
defenitely there Athem.

Zach McKeever says:

What a large portion of you younger persons out there might want to
consider is that when Led Zeppelin were your age, there WAS no punk, no new
wave, no alternative music. There were quite a great number of
UK(including Irish) record store geeks out there looking for anything that
had a shitload of punch to it. Like when I was a kid coming up and got
into Joy Division and Bauhaus and stuff like that. Well, for bands like
Traffic, The Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrisson, etc., American Blues
was the sound they’d never experienced. It stirred something in their
soul. It fused with what they were feeling at that time when rock n roll
music was in a magnanimous transition. So. My point is that when Eric
Clapton, Jimmy Page, etc. were coming up they were looking for rare hits by
people like Robert Johnson, Howlin Wolf, BB King, etc. Not The Smiths, The
Auteurs, The Cure, Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, DJ Shadow, or whatever the
fuck. The blues was the thing which they’d never heard, and they listened
to it religiously, learned to play it and changed the vast rock landscape
we see before us now. My challenge to the majority of you idiots who post
on here is to do your research before you speak. Back your posts up with
facts, and don’t allow yourself to be one of the 99%-ers. The lemmings who
don’t know the difference between Dave Brubeck and Miles Davis. The people
who never listened to Jimmy Rodgers. If you haven’t explored, or aren’t
actively exploring music on many different levels then you’re that 99%.
You all should just like the rest of the lemmings out there, walk off a
cliff and perish in a very pernicious manner.

Lorenzo Archan says:

The greatest outro ever, period.

michael sanchez says:

It’s cool that teens my age like this music too, but you don’t have to post
about it. Just enjoy the song.

Austin Healey says:

That bass drum at the start is intoxicating… if anything it’s more
intoxicating than the reverberations in ‘When The Levee Breaks’. So far the
best song I’ve listened to from any band, group, or singer imo

Johannesburg777 says:

When I hear this song I think of the movie Godzilla — the remake that came
out in 2000 (I think) — it played during the credits. Cheezy, I know, but
still…..

Fritha71 says:

“…let me take you there, baby, let me take you there…”
You already did, Robert, you already did <3

Such a masterful piece of music!

Moss Side Mick says:

Thankyou so much, best audio ever!!

Donna Ridgeway says:

I love this !!!!!!

Duarte Terán says:

Uhuuu! Y love, fantastic song…

Markus M. says:
