who they just saw, all they know is they just witnessed some band called
Led Zeppelin tear down that stage, building, city, and every pre-conceived
notion of what rock music is. That’s a small establishment; there’s people
just sitting and enjoying drinks at the end. This isn’t like it’s 1975 and
they’re mega-stars and you expect to see something like this. I can’t even
imagine I’m at a small venue concert in 1969 and I see something like this
happen.
I was four or five when this concert took place, and at fifteen I had to
ask my aunt’s acquaintances who went to London to get me some books about
Led Zeppelin.
At that time it would have been nice to have this video but hardly useful
without any playing device.
So I am glad to finally be able to watch Robert Plant in his time as a
Young Fair God.
