Like everybody else, I just wanted to say, thanks, man!
I was using open hats on this song the other night, your closed hat session
was helpful thanks for writing it out.
Thank you so much !!!!!!!!!
Great breakdown, much appreciated, Cheers!
Mr personality.. Lol
Thanks man. My band wanted me to learn this.
Deceivingly hard
Thanks Andy! About to cover this with my band and that’s just the video I
was looking for.
Thank you very much!
Thank you for making it so clear!! It is a real talent in and of itself to
be able to explain things in a way that makes it easy for others to “get
it”! You have great empathy.
Great Job, Andy… Thanks!
Ive never played a Zeppelin song and we’re covering this in my new band.
This has been a great help, thanks :-)
Thanks for the video it really helped, however im still having trouble with
the rapid base drum(im young), best keep practicing! thanks
yea
Andy, could you do a cover of good times bad times
yes it helped me a lot! now to practice that damn ghost note! Thank you
very much for sharing man!
One other quick comment/question. Is it possible that the ghost note could
be from Bonham hitting the high hat with a 1/16 instead of the snare? When
I listen to the original song, even slowed down, there doesn’t seem to be
any sonic difference between the sound of the high hat and the ghost note?
The snare note however sounds “sonic-ally” different? And is there any
known film showing him actually, clearly playing the drums on this song
where you can see everything he is hitting exactly?
Great tutorial… and nice shirt… Also that’s what I really love about
music / drums, you can be giving a Zeppelin tutorial but be sporting a
Slayer shirt, lol
Hell the one instrument I can’t play. Props to all of you.
Very nice Andy…
it’s fantastic thank you very much
This is one of the easiest bonham songs to play but Bonham makes it sound
so good. Such a legendary drummer
Thanks for breaking it down, that is a good technique. I was trying to play
this the other day and could not get it right, this will help me get it
down.
I learnt this in about 5 minutes today :P
Best compliment ever! Hahaha. Thanks.
Thanks for this video learned playing the song.
Thank you very much.
I’ve been trying to learn this one. It was so simple it evaded me. Thank
You Andy!
Mr. Jones – great video. Thank you for uploading this.
THE CHUCK NORRIS OF DRUMMING 🙂
Glad I could help. 🙂
I dont use to comment, but I HAD to do it here. Thanks for the way you
explain this. Thanks for making legendary things easy!
Cheers dude… was wondering how he did it thinking he was using floor toms
but couldnt see it on the vid.
Great tutorial, straight to the point and no bullshit. Cheers dude!
This is just an exceptional video. Breaking it down like that with the drum
notation really helped me. I still haven’t quite got the ghost snare yet,
but I will eventually. Thanks so much for posting.
Your welcome. I hope it was what you were looking for.
Absolutely, it’s reaaally helpful. Thanks again! 🙂
Thank you kindly sir.
Thanks Man! SLAYER RULES!!
He’s over there –>
Excelent
Awesomeness! alot easier than I imagined. Cool Video.
Thanks bud. Maybe you should start now. 🙂
..the video I saw did have a double pedal, but his left foot was planted on
that hi-hat pedal, and his right foot was doing the work, like he’s showing
in this video. so I don’t know what video you watched.
Thank you. I’m not a drum teacher, but maybe I should rethink that. We’ll
see how well my next few instructional videos do. 🙂
No, I dont. I have a habit of just playing my left foot on the floor, not
the left pedal.
kick ass!
Thank you ! This video really helped me alot.
Great job Andy
Nicely done. Don’t be nervous talking. You’re doing great.
