Damn…Robert Plant was so gorgeous and his voice absolutely mesmerizing.
..if you told me he was truly a fallen angel cast down from heaven..I would
not be surprised whatsoever..what I would give to had been alive and at
this show..front row just in their presence.

Let me tell you a story. I was born in 1972. My parents had these wild
raging parties in the 70’s that would scare a child. Kids were there too. I
remember hearing this song (and many other songs of the time) at full
volume, playing on vinyl of course, smoke and massive sounds filling the
air, all night. It was crazy; some might say slightly insane. But now, I am
thankful for experiencing the music and my parents generation. They and
their friends had a spirit about them they still have to this day. They
love and party and live fully. They were the changing generation I think.
And I hated it when I was young. I rebelled by listening to Bach and Duran
Duran…ha! But I’m so thankful now. And I think Stairway to heaven was my
lullaby and so it sooths me now. No song today moves a generation like this
song did. That’s all. Close your eyes and listen again…

God Robert had such sex appeal in 1973, to hard to handle
Sometimes I’m wondering why am I not born in the 70’s everytime i’m
listening or watching this Live from Led Zeppelin, I’m crying because they
were so gorgeous, awesome and in that time, music, was more significative
with a good meaning, now the music sounds like cheap, without real meaning
and everytime I hear some modern music it’s almost all about sex, drug
etc… Led Zeppelin still the best band ever! Today I bought MOTHERSHIP de
CD from Led Zeppelin because it’s our favorite band! 😀

When Page is playing the intro the guitar sound is the 12 string but the
visual is the 6 string. Then when he switches to the 12 string “And it
makes me wonder” in the visual, the guitar sound stays the same as before,
it doesn’t change to the 12 string when Page changes. And when he changes
back to the 6 to play the solo, the guitar sound does then change to the
six string but his playing doesn’t always match the visual. They must have
re-recorded the guitar after the fact adding the 12 string to the opening.
Not an uncommon thing to do – Crosby Stills and Nash did it on the
Woodstock movie.

neck guitar in stairway to heaven …… I love the way he moves his

Obviamente a música é espetacular, o Robert & Jimmy também … a banda nem
se fala, enfim. Mas o que me agrada neste vídeo é a luz:
azul e amarelo com muitos closes até os 4:50 … aí vem muito rosa, laranja
e vermelho … com detalhes de verde … excelente. Aos 10:02 tende ao
amarelo novamente e aos 10:24 retorna ao azul com amarelo … rosa,
vermelho & caleidoscópio PB. Excelente, uma obra de arte, em todos os
sentidos.
