Love this song. Actually, although the mainstream didn’t really like the
Presence album, it is one of my favorites. More of a funk/jazz mix with
some wicked grooves (like this song) by Gonzo and JpJ…..I think it takes
a more musically educated ear to find the appeal in this album. Awesome to
have them do this on the celebration gig!! Just far out, man!
Jimmy dirties it up at the end, and they all play along? Fuck, that’s why
they’re the greatest live ensemble we are aware of. Perhaps Puccine or
Listz were better, we don’t know. This is the best we know.
does any remember audiance participation those
wankers just fucking sitting there. i hope the’re saving their
energies for the after concert fuck their woman give them while she
fantisizes about the old rockers…props gentlemen you give all the aged
hope that we too can rock the fuck on.
For Your Life
It is important for those that don’t know, including the poster of this
video and the bulk of commenters, that this video is not Led Zeppelin. Led
Zeppelin was a band that consisted of Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, John
Bonham and Robert Plant. Led Zeppelin dissolved as a group in 1980, never
to play again due to the drummer John Bonham’s death that same year. The
surviving members have stated this fact time and time again…
Ok, ok! I know it’s Bonzo!!! Just comment on the song, and get past it,
man. Like none of y’all haven’t had spell check make a sentence of yours
look stupid?!
Holy Shit! These guys were tight. As a musician, I can appreciate that.
Some bands can’t cut it live, Zep can and I wish they’d do another tour
with this lineup, I’d love to see them. Jonesy is the most underrated
musician in the band, the guy plays bass, guitar, flute, keyboard,
mandolin. Zep still rocks!
One of their best songs from the later years.
Great treat to hear it here. A surprise for sure.
Always was a great song with a mix of deep-hard rock and a quirky dirge-
melody.
Plant finally sounds great here.
Still,Page’s solo doesn’t have the “mean-nasty” sound of the solo from the
LP.
He sounds pretty generic and safe here.
But why complain?
Thanks for posting.

LED ZEPPELIN
FOR YOUR LIFE
From: PRESENCE – LP
(Celebration Day clip:
Jason Bonham – Drums)
Holy Shiiste! That was the first time in forever I saw them “challenged” by
a difficult number, then their joy erupting at their mastery of it…..
gosh that must have been an incredible rush@ wooohooo!
Phenomenal!!! This was the highlight of this concert for me. There’s a vibe
here that I didn’t pick up anywhere else. LZ were always at their best when
bringing something people hadn’t experienced before. Here they are doing
that again… the magic is back, the bomber flies again.. so freakin
majestic!! can you feel it? :)
Outstanding! As close to the original as you can get. Surprisingly, Plant
still has his voice after all these years. Only live version of this song
I’ve ever heard.
This is good to start the weekend, good night to all friends….

Once again, Jimmy mixed the bass too low!

true to the song. Awesome!
One of my all time favorite Zep tunes done live for the first time. I’ve
watched this at least 10 times.

I was there and it was even better live!- Go Pagey!
They havent lost a step. Johns son crushes it!!
JPJ looks 40.
Led Zeppelin – For Your Life~
Super cool.
A great blues and Jimmy Page does not hit a guitar solo, is disgusting !!!
There isn’t a band out there now that touches these guys–and Jimmy Page is
damn near 70 playing this. Inspiring!!
Not bad for a live version.
amazing. nice to see Page having such fun.
IN CONCERT AND BEYOND “LED-ZEPPELIN”!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!
