This song was so overplayed that it was spoiled for me before I even had
the chance to appreciate it. That being said, this is a really good
version. Robert Plant’s vocals have really matured over the years. I can’t
blame him for not wanting to sing it ever again, but he certainly knows how
to do it justice when he needs to.

In both videos Everything is same , the only change is of TIME ( the age ,
the audience ), So today if you are saying he is not good in guitar or
vocals , comparison may give you an idea about life, once we are young and
then old and then a new one. “If today were the last day your life, would
you want to do what your are about to do today?” do something exceptional
that makes you so renowned to be disrespected by the next generation AROUND
the world.
Love Page as a guitarist, really amazing to be quite honest, not feeling

well past the age of Social Security! But the septuagenarians can still
play some mean rock! Jimmy remains one of the all-time greats, though I
dearly miss Bonham.
Although, Jimmy Page did a nice job of “Stairway” He had no where near the
fire, and passion, that he did in his younger days. Getting old is a bitch
lol .. Although, I have to say, I hope when I reach his age of 71, that I
can still play my guitar without struggling :P
I know many people think jimmy play bad and sound bad here, or at any of
zeppelins live shows. But i really like their sound on this live show. Some
of the songs i even prefere the version they played here.
He played it pretty much like the studio version he always goes. On a
extended jam I wish he did it this time like he does on the live album the
song remains the same that’s an awesome jam
Page and Plant have both stated in interviews that the reason they didn’t
replace Bonzo and keep going was because the songs were never played the
same at any concert. So, they could not bring in just anyone to replace
him. With that said, they are still kicking ass even at the age they are.
If you watch the complete Celebration Day video, you will see that Bonzo’s
son, who is a good drummer in his own right has difficulties in some of the
section.

I miss the YOUNG Zep with range, power and precision. I still love them
for giving it their best though.
